So I finally felt like it was time to put a new coil in my smoktech R tank.
SO I grabbed one of the premade coils because its 4:30am here..
My mom just woke me up to tell me the roof is leaking above her bed.
And I needed a GOOD vape and it just wasn't cutting it with the caked up coils Ive cleaned 10000x.
Sooo I set out to rebuild it. I grabbed one of the premade wick/coils and sat at my desk.
sweet. I'll rebuild this n go to sleep.
Well the wick holes on the smoktek R tank are so small that u need to defy physics to get the wick in.
So I struggled with that for a while but finally just broke out the superglue and finally got them in.
Sweeet.
So then I put the coils in the springy screws. Sweeet.
So then I put the tank all back together and fill it up. sweeet.
So then I prime the wick and fire it. Nothiiing.
so then I fire it. Nothiiing.
so then I fire it. Nothiiing.
UGH. So I end up thinking its a short, I go through the whole thing. It doesn't seem like a short.
Then I go to checking that the center post is screwed into the bottom cap/center post connection.
Its screwed in. I clean it. I read it a dr seus book and complimented it on its shiny physique.
So then I check it again. Nothiiing. Nothiiing. Nothiiing.
I went through the ranks over and over and over and over again. Finally I settled on "its the insulated wires."
I figured it was those wires that are completely inside of the tank of e-liquid, which is weird....
I figured it was them. I figured my freaking 20 dollar (which is a lot) new rebuildable tank thingy was BROKEN.
Then I decided to tear the nasty wick and coils out and throw them in the trash and something pricked me.
The wire was randomly cut, in the middle of the spiral. -__________________________- wuh???
I swear to god they sold me a premade wick with the wire cut in the middle of the coil.
Thanks a lot smoktech and the teenage girl that coiled this. Sweet. Thanks.
