"Wrap" question

New to making coils. I'm reading different threads and people refer to a "x/x wrap." For example, someone said they use a "5/6 wrap" for their coil. Wut dat meen? Thanks in advance.

When you wrap a coil, if you end up with both legs pointing in the same direction you get one more loop on one side, top vs bottom.
