Hey guys, after reading a ton of forums on the safety of 18650 batteries I seem to be coming across some conflicting results. I understand how to use 18650's safely and ohms law but I can't seem to find if using 2 batteries in series, in my smok X cube 2, means I can vape higher watts with low ohms in safety.

For example using ohms law my 0.22 ohm coil can vape at about 80 watts without eceding 20 amps. Does this only apply to single batteries as I understand that a series setup shares the volts, Does this mean by sharing the voltage it also reduces the ampage?

Sorry for the long winded question but safety is my key consern
