ok i downloaded smart tech app to my galaxy s3 (android 4.1) turn my bluetooth on my phone and my xcube mini and my phone dont find it when searching nor does the app when it searches. am i doing something wrong?

I turn on Blue tooth on the device
Boot the Program, it starts searching
Start Bluetooth on the X Cube

Everything I have read implies 4.2 or later
