I took a look at my sig, which currently says "3,000 cigarettes avoided". Are you kidding me? When I was smoking, i never allowed myself to truly "do the math". When the guy at the gas station noticed that my visits to buy cartons became more frequent, he actually asked me how many I smoked a day...and I said to him "yeah, I don't discuss numbers"- and then I gave my business to other places and rotated his station out! Now that I have quit analogs, I am appalled at the thought of 3,000 cigarettes. Kudos to all who have quit!

PS- another number that I have taken notice of is my checking account...boy, those savings add up when you're not spending $50+/wk!

Yep it's pretty crazy when you actually pay attention. Of course I never counted the amount I smoked or spent beyond a single day or two. Blows me away how much money I've NOT spent on smokes. One great side effect is that I've actually spent even less than the amount in my sig banner, I was the type that would buy 1 to 3 packs at a time at a gas station or smoke shop and ALMOST NEVER bought just smokes. They may have been the one reason I stopped at the store but I'd usually buy a drink and a snack too.

If big tobacco and big pharmacy are able to ruin the vape world it would be another injustice to humanity, in addition to what they've already been doing for generations.

Congrats. I started vaping in late March but continued to smoke analogs (albeit at a much slower pace). Last Thursday I smoked my last analog. I believe I'm done. Each cig tasted like ... after starting vaping but continued because friends would. did it out of physical habit. didnt even enjoy them. I think I'll start one of those "cigarettes not smoked" now since it's legit.

I transitioned in ecigs only for a week as I finished up my last carton. First by not smoking in my car, ecig only. But you're right, once you stop smoking analogs, you tend not to look back. It took me awhile to transition from pre filled cartos to juice. The flavors and ability to adjust my nic levels (and the cost savings) have kept me off the analogs. Continued success to you!

When I started I had no intention of quitting. I was going to smoke at work but vape in my car and at home. Lasted about 2 weeks and I would find myself vaping at work. Finally I just quit buying cigarettes. This was back in October. Hadn't had a thought about it since.

Took me a while though to get my setup. I finally decided on a Vamo for home and Spinner for out and about. 3 carto tanks and a couple of Kanger T3. And I did treat myself to a Protank this month but it doesn't leave the house. I now can make 1 monthly order for juice and supplies and it comes to about 55 bucks and Im good for over a month.

Been a month and a half for my wife and I. Every time I look down at the analog avoided ticker I'm just amazed at how many cigs we actually smoked. All those years we smoked I never thought about the numbers, now looking back I think OMG. I see it as a prize for quitting, our car payment and some of the mortgage payment is now being paid with the money not given to Big Tobacco anymore.
Were spending extra money on vaping supplies but that will taper off once were set up how we want.
