I hate it when I overspend. At first, Kanger T3. Love at first sight. To me, nothing vapes like it. Then, slowly, came the others. Vapeonly, eVod, Protank. A new wave of clearos have hit. The somewhat ridiculous Vision Victory that looks like a feeding bottle to me New Vision Victory BCC eGo Cartomizer 5ml 2.4ohm - CLEAR [gv-VictoryBCC-2.4ohm-CLEAR] - $8.95 : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more, the glassomizers Protank and Anyvape Davide Anyvape Davide Glassomizer BCC 3.0ml w/ 2 Coils - CLEAR [gv-AnyVapeDavide-CLEAR] - $16.95 : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more (that looks like a copy of the Protank, I like the Anyvape Viva BCC but no one that ships to me carries it), the Kamry x10 and it's FT counterpart Kamry x10 Protank Atomizer $7.57 | gotsmok.com.

Fact is that for us bottom coil and T3 lovers, nothing vapes like the T3. Not even the Protank. And so many choices are driving me mad. I don't need a glass clearo, I want my T3 back!

The closest to the ideal is the lovely T4 from FT. https://www.fasttech.com/products/1360400 With an eVod head vapes almost like a T3. But it doesn't.

I'm mad. I can't get a good vape since I switched to mods. And Kanger heads are built NOT TO last...

You didn’t mention it, but I assume you’ve tried the T3S. For me, it vapes better than the original T3. The T3 was great when it was working right, but it was always giving me trouble. It seemed like I was always messing with the wicks to fix gurgling or burnt hits. Lately, I’ve been using a T3S coil and base on an eVod tank. It works good, and I like the sturdiness of the eVod.

No, I didn't. The reports are that it has the same contact problems as previous T3, so I didn't buy any. My problem is all mods and contact, and besides I still have a lot of heads and plastics that I can only use with adapters, and sometimes not even with that. And adapters are not trustworthy, the center pin of my Gripper broke thanks to adapters. I tried many but the contact becomes wobbly and breakage prone...

You do know about the T3 converter thingum? => Kanger T3/MT3 Coil Upgrade - Mt Baker Vapor - Electronic Cigarettes

Last I looked at MBV it was out of stock but there are good pics and description there.

It's where all us T3 lover's gotta go now. I actually like the idea because the replacement coils are cheaper since the base is now something you don't have to replace with every coil. I got two but haven't had a chance to try these out yet to determine if the 3 piece design vapes any differently that the original.

LOL - I got some bases to convert T3's. Actually, I have a bunch of T3 MINI'S that I want to keep in use.
But the OP MIGHT be talking about my issue - the T3 doesn't DRAW right on my SVD.
I think the problem is that the 510 threading is deep enough to completely block the air holes.
I suppose I could get an airflow thingy, but they're always out of stock.
So for now, I use EVODs and ProTanks on the SVD, and I use the T3 Minis on my EGO batteries when I'm running around...

Susaz, I think the industry as a whole is in transition to get us better "stuff". I like where we're going but right now can be frustrating because I have so many boxes of coils that may have changed from what is being released now. (Hope that makes sense!) I do know that I like the T3S, mini PT and PT2. Anyway I like the direction they're going in because each advance does seem better to me. I do realize that each advancement costs me $$$$, but I also like that they appear to be listening to what we want and improving on what doesn't work.

In the mean time the people who have been vaping 3 years or more are sitting on the front porch rocking chairs saying:
"These young pups don't know how good they have it these days! In MY day, you had to remove the filler from the cartomizer and replace it with a coffee straw and fish tank filter to get a good vape! Why, I only had dripping atomizers and by golly, if you didn't drip, you didn't vape! I walked 5 miles uphill both ways to the mailbox in 40 inches of snow when it was 210 degrees outside in July just to get my VAPEMAIL!!"

Seriously though. I'm just glad we have so many choices these days that we CAN complain about them. I personally get the bottom coil devices and rebuild the heads because the factory ones are not as good for me as the ones I make. But that is a personal preference.
