Xbox xetup question

Okay technoweenies...

I need to set my Xbox up in my office to my awesome monitor... What can I do to get audio out of my Xbox.

I don't see anything that looks like I can hook PC speakers to. Do I have to buy a special set?

What are you using to connect it to your monitor? Are you using the cable that came with it? If so, you'll have to stick the audio part into some speakers if your awesome monitor isn't awesome enough to have audio on it..

I have a connector rca's to a headphone jack then a double female coupler and plug my computer speakers into it. I have had this setup a while. I like to have the tv on when I game.

If you need a a/v splitter I have a couple laying around somewhere (they're from when I use to have a dazzle they should work though). If it's a monitor without a hdmi port then just get a VGA connector. It'll hook your box up to the monitor and whatever audio speakers you were using before you can still use on your monitor. Is it a Viewsonic monitor? When I go to tourneys that what they usually use and that's how they set it up but there is usually no audio just mix amps so you can plug you A40 or X3 into.
