Is there a way to tag a member without having to type their name (or copy and paste) - something I can just click on? That would be cool!

I like the tag feature, but I'm always afraid I'm going to get the name wrong (by typing an I instead of L, or an O instead of a 0, etc.)
I agree.....I do love how conversations now show an avi when you type their name. some are very similar and confusing. found out on the old forum there are two old broads, one has a space and one doesn't lol

I've "found" the TOP button (at the bottom)...

But I'm unable to find the BOTTOM button (at the top)...
never understood why there aren't bottom buttons at the top!

I think it should be purple - since that was the veteran color before...
I 2nd, 3rd, and 839th this!!!

Hmmm somehow I lost Robin's quote, but it was about the PM prefixes, I would love to be able to pm that to myself as I used to do a lot of info that I wanted to save. Contact info for members, recipes etc. Is there any place that we can do that since we can't pm ourselves, or can it be fixed so we can pm ourselves. (I refuse to type conversate ourselves) lol

Thank you for restoring our "veteran" status and giving us a nice banner! :)

Yessssssssssssss!!!! Thank you ECF! Woot!

Can I get my "ECF Veteran" ribbon in a nice Hunter Green?

(runs, ducks, and hides)

Nope.

I think it would be Nice if they would do the Same thing with the Supporting Member jpg. Make it a Ribbon just like the ECF Veteran.

It would save a Lot of White Space on a page.

Yup! And make it a nice blue--in honor of the old ECF badge.

I think it should be purple - since that was the veteran color before...

Technically, it was maroon. :D And I agree.

I also still think that the user name and title (whatever it is) should be above the avatar; the ribbons (stripes) should be below--as they are.

*runs and hides*

@Debadoo You could use the blog system for that, many do: Blogs | E-Cigarette Forum You can even restrict who can see them. :)

but for supporting mems (I think) it was purple

You can even restrict who can see them.
thanks hun, will look into those. someone had suggested that on another post then someone else said that they were public, so can you make them totally private? (as much as anything on the net is)

It doesn't matter to me if I see it or Not. I know what the OUTSIDE is.

Just say'n that the mod's are going to get Complaints from Unaware .... Hurt members when they get Ganged Up on and Pummeled in the OUTSIDE.

Yep... it give you an option that says "Viewable", which you can uncheck to make private, or if checked, you have a choice of:
  • All Visitors
  • Members only
  • People you follow only
  • A specific list of people (then you can type in the name(s) of the members you want to be able to view that blog post

Hope that helps! :)

ECF Veteran title was maroon, if I remember correctly (how quickly they forget....). User name color was optional--purple or maroon. I chose the maroon because I liked it better.

I think.

Me too. I used to PM all kinds of info to myself and then store it in folders--links, tips, and other relevant information. I have no idea how to do this here. I tried albums, but that's for pictures only. I want to store text, url addresses and such. Any tips on how to do that?

@sonicdsl ok, am looking at the blog stuff, made one, but just checking, do you uncheck what is viewable for each entry you make? Or is there a way to make the entire thing never viewable?
Each entry, from what I can see.

READ first, then ask if it hasn't been answered.

I did read, dear. I do read before I post, most of the time... I just wanted to know if there was a place other than blogs to store my info--like the old folders in PMs and such... If blog is the only way to do it, I'll use it.

That's why I'm uneasy about blogs--I just don't want to have to worry about what is private and what is public. My old folders were always private.
