I have not seen this answered and just really don't understand it. What is it? And if you ignore a certain person. . .is the person aware of it? Just wondering.

Also, I miss my Feedly news feeds from ecf. Is this one of the things that will change or is it just "gone"?

No, they are not aware of it and their activities are removed from your view.

You have no idea that I put you on ignore, but for me, it's if you don't exist. The only clue that you were there would be the fact that for me, there is no post [HASHTAG]#757[/HASHTAG], it jumps from 756 to 758

We do need to see all the posts made, not just some of them.

Agreed. When I currently look at new posts, it only goes back 2 hours (and that's with many forums deleted from new posts). I'm unaware of anything posted this morning.

I hadn't noticed that, but you are right. At this time my new posts goes back to 9:02, and I read new posts around 5:30 this morning. So I'm missing a couple hours or so of posts. Not good.

We're looking into the search settings.

Problem is, if we loosen it too much, we're going to impact the performance of the site, similar to what we saw with vB. It's going to be a fine balancing act that's going to take us a few days to get ironed out.

As a work-around to the 200 post limit for now, you can set some forums to "ignore forum" (New Posts only) temporarily. Then click on New Posts and the search will return only those outside of the ignored forums. Then change the forums you are ignoring and repeat, to see the rest.

I have found that the 3 main forums account for about 1/3 of all the posts, so ignoring those 3, along with forums I already have on ignore, gives me posts from quite a bit earlier than otherwise.

I have also discovered that ignoring a forum does NOT include ignoring any sub-forums under it, which is great. For example, I vape unflavoured with homemade NETS, so I have set both General e-liquid discussion and DIY e-liquid to ignore, and still get the homemade extraction threads showing up in New Posts.

Is it my PC...or my FF...or XenForo...but...ALL the W's (w and W) in the posts appear as "ghost" W's.

Mine do too, but this is the size I want to view at, so I guess I'll live with it.

Or... Ctrl-0 (Zero on the number pad) will reset the screen to defaults.

Another thing I miss is getting a pop up when I get a PM. Now you only see it when you are at the top of a page. I missed something good this morning, because I didn't get a pop up about a pm until it was too late.

Yeah, but I was reading the forums, so I didn't see the email until it was too late. The popup used to come up instantly, and I couldn't miss it. The alerts are only at the top of the page, and that's a really long way from the bottom, especially when you are reading your watched forums and starting from last unwatched post. Sometimes I don't see the alerts for an hour or so, if I'm reading and replying to a lot of watched threads.

I understand - I miss the popup as well. May be something we can look at in the future. Unfortunately, it's pretty low priority.
