Are the any plans, at some future post rest for the code monkeys date, to add support for TABLES?
Or maybe allowing HTML tables?

I miss my tables!

I can only answer half your question: HTML in posts will likely never be allowed.

I'll add it to the list and we'll add the bbcode equivalent to the editor.

Never happen. Allowing HTML in forum posts is a sure fire recipe for a disaster. (Think security.)

Your "friends" list did carry over. Go to your profile page, and on the left side, you'll see two blocks. Following (your friends list) and Followers (those who stalk, I mean, follow you).

I was wondering about that... Before I just had 'friends'. Now I have have people who follow me (91) and those I follow (89)? How did that happen? Why are those numbers different?

ETA: This is really a low priority question. :) Feel free to ignore it...

I can't speak for why the numbers are different, but the way the conversion works, anyone you were friends with, you automatically follow and they follow you. I would suspect that those who only had you as a contact and not a "buddy" or "friend," would be those extra two people that now follow you. As far as I remember, adding somebody as a contact did not send a request to the user being added.

I know that anyone who requested a 'friend' with me (contact?) and I rejected is now a 'follower' and those who I 'defriended' after a certain incident, are now back as a 'follower'. I also defriended people who were no longer active - they're also now 'followers'

However, I just noted one 'friend' no longer posting who is no longer in my 'follow/follower' lists... hmmmmm , that person still showed as a friend in vb.... even though some others who were friends and no longer here are still there.

But him having said that, know that you can mark things private for only thos you follow. :)

Wow, three responses from the mods to a low priority question! You guys rule! Thanks Retired, Judge and Sonic! I feel so pampered. :)

And speaking of privacy--could someone please do me a favor and click on my blog to make sure it is indeed private. I want to know it's secure before I move other members' personal information to my blog for safe keeping. Thanks a million.

No idea--but as long as you can't access the content, it seems fine to me. I just unchecked the Viewing options box. I don't know if there is another way to make the blog private.
