SINCE talking about pt I GOT a car adapter as freebie and tried it in car with pt and doesnt work hardly at all because it is only 200ma,I KNOW its suppose to be 1000ma to work, does anyone know the one they sell now at v4l if its 1000ma and if it works?

If the car adapter was in a little clear bag when you received it, it should be the right one. They are mis-marked as 200ma. How long ago did you get it?

I got the end of october.

Did you order it from the "super sale" page? Those were the old ones. They've sent me 2 as freebies in my orders and both of them are the new ones.

If all else fails, your local Walgreens should have this one in stock:

E Tek Dual USB Car Charger | Walgreens

Although the website doesn't say, it is rated for 1000ma and works just fine.

Are you using manual or auto XL? Interested in getting one...

I'd like to know too.
I love the manuals but sometimes I actually get a better hit off the autos - because I can sort of wrap my finger around the battery carto connection. With the manual that's like playing finger twister .

So I'm thinking of getting the auto- opinions?

I haven't tried an auto XL, but the manual XL is close to a USB manual PT, but not quite there. I notice quite a bit of difference. I can't even use the auto shorties, even when covering up the "connection" - I have tmj and get wicked headaches because I "pull" too hard on the autos. :(
Awesome! that answered my question. thanks rockerella ella ella:D
