Hello all!

My name's Tomas, I'm British, and I've been vaping for exactly one month today. In honour of this, although I have made a couple of posts in the few days I've been a member here, I thought I'd officially introduce myself. This forum's already taught me a lot, and I hope to be here for quite some time.

vape-wise, I have an MVP2 which I love, and an Ego which is now consigned to being my back-up. It usually has an Iclear 30S on it, with some sort of custard, although I currently have four different clearos loaded with different liquids so I change as the mood suits.

I'm looking forward to getting to know you all!

Hi Thomas! The MVP is pretty sweet eh? I got mine yesterday and have been happily vaping a ProTank full of RY4 all day today :)

Congratz on the one month anniversary - I think I'm up to about that now (with a 2-day slip-up thanks to running out of e-liquid) - have you quit cigarettes altogether or are you still weening yourself off 'em?

Hi Thomas *waves to a fellow brit*. I smoked my last ever cigarette on thursday morning and been vaping with an EGO C4 since thursday lunchtime. I''ve not had a craving since and I've got the hang of vaping now. Just ordered some liquids from Triphammer but for now I'm using some Dekang liquids which are ok but i want to experiment more over the next few weeks. In the future I want to get some new kit but right now I am enjoying my EGO.

I wasn't a heavy smoker before, but i was smoking around 5-6 every day and I already feel a lot better now that I have quit. Looking forward to the savings of money and not smelling like an ashtray anymore.

Only just arrived here and can see that this is a very helpful and supportive community. So hello everyone *waves*

Thanks Seattle!
Another great positive is that I can vape indoors and not go outside into the crazy british weather we have at the moment. Gales and cigarettes are not good! So I am sitting here with a nice cup of tea, watching the football and having a lovely vape whilst it hammers down with rain outside. :vapor:

What would you recommend to step up to next from an EGO?

Welcome Tomas. :)

Hey, we are on a roll here in the UK. Always new faces over the New Year.
I like the sound of your kit.
...not so sure about the snake avatar though.... :) (phobia...)

MVP is excellent. I got mine on Monday after putting it off for months as I already have a Vamo V5 completely unused in my vape box.

What clearos have you lined up? I tend to keep 4 or 5 ready to go.

I'm a huge fan of the MVP - have had it about a fortnight, and I'm loving the power options and battery capacity.

I've quit entirely, although I hadn't intended to, I just... didn't feel a need to get any more once I finished my pack. Didn't think it could possibly be that easy, but it was.

You'll love the Triphammer - I have his Fizzy Trifle and Toffee Apple and they're both excellent.

I always forget that not everyone loves my darlings' faces as much as I do - avatar now changed to the dog.

I have a few Vision V3s, an Iclear 30, IClear 30s (my preferred clearo thus far) and an IClear 30b.

Funnily enough, the next mod I was planning on getting was the Vamo V5, as back-up to the MVP.

Waves and hellos to everyone else who responded. :):vapor:

Congrats on being 1 month free. I am in the exact same spot(1 month) and it was also the MVP2 that made me quit analogs. I still use and love mine but have stepped up to a Provari Mini for my main device. It rocks and I highly recommend getting one.

I'm so glad you're liking your MVP. I felt so unsure when I got mine, but I got used to it quickly.

P.S. I'm lovin' the dog!

Starting vaping has made me feel so positive. I no longer feel anxious or have something at the back of my mind either. The money I would usually spend on cigarettes is now going into my savings account, so tomorrow I would buy a pack of 10, instead i'll put the money into my savings, same on wednesday and the same on saturday. £15 - £20 a week will look good in 12 months - around £960! Pays for next seasons season ticket for my beloved Swansea City and a few bob for christmas too.

It's a win win!

Yikes! My ego is kaput! :( Was working great this morning then (even on a fully charged battery) it stopped heating. I checked the connection and did the the pliers trick, but still nothing. Light was coming on but the coil was not heating. Kept trying until it finally just gave out.

So I've learned the hard way and have ordered an EVOD mini protank 2 kit. Should be with by tuesday. Have to go cold turkey for 2 days! Wish me luck!!
