Please help. I am a vaper from long ago, now returning. Problem is, I have forgotten everything I knew about it. I prefer to mix my own juice. I remember that! LOL But I am 68.
But not my ratios, other than the PG/VG of 50/50? Or where to purchase my supplies, including empty bottles, flavorings and nic. HELP please. TIA :)

Hi there. We can definitely help you remember. I'll go ahead and mention a couple good places, but others will have more suggestions, these will be just places I go through online.
I get flavorings at Bull City Flavors, vg and pg from Nicotine River (who recently changed their name to River Supply Company) and Nicotine from Nicotine River as well but I have seen some people had some issues with their nicotine recently.
The thread that @r77r7r posted is a great place to get advice as well, lots of friendly experienced mixers hang out there, but I'm not sure if you can post there as a "new member" right away. You may need to make a few more posts here to become a full member, I forget exactly how that works...

Thank you for the nice Welcome.
I have been 100 cig free since 2008. Vape free since 2012 BUT going thru a particularly stressful time right now and the temptation is WAAAAY to strong. So I bought a new setup yesterday and a bottle of juice. Nic free, BUT I want to return to mixing my own juice. Being on SS doesn't allow much room for buying commercially prepared juice in today's market! In a 30ml bottle how many drops flavoring and for my 34yr old son how many drops nicotine for a med strength nic, he said. TIA

Good to hear you have stayed away from smoking!
As far as the mixing, someone else will have to answer that. I mix in a different manner, weigh it on a scale, so I have no idea how that converts to drops.
As for your son's nic level, that can be a tricky answer on it's own without knowing how he vapes. Strong nic in one tank could be weak in another. Same can be said for amount of flavorings. Does he use something that has a tight draw with small amount of vapor coming out at lower wattage? That's mouth to lung vaping (MTL), more like a cigarette.
Or does his vape have a loose draw with a lot of airflow with bigger clouds? That is direct lung or DL vaping.
With MTL vaping usually but not as a rule you use higher nicotine amount because you get less of it at once, whereas with DL you are getting more all at once so don't need as strong a dose of nicotine. Too high in a DL vape can be harsh or actually make you nicotine sick. But that all depends on the person as well.
