My Gear: sigelie zmax v3, Samsung 18650, Smoktech RDA, IGO-l, silica and kanthal (32g) so I did the research, got myself a digi MM, some nifty tools, 2 smoktech RDAs and an IGO-l and an IGO F, some silica and some 32g kanthal. I really like 100% vg juice but it works like molasses in carto and tank systems, and I had used an RDA before and seen the videos of dense fog emitting from fellow vapors mouths. I used the Smoktech rda, not particulary huge vapor from the prebuilt wick but enjoyable, using a Sig. Zmax v3 and Samsung 18650. I set to DIY mode, after two wonky coil attempts I come up for air with a nice and sweet looking 4/5 wrapped coil with continuity and a measurement of 2.5 ohm, Awesome. I skrew it down finger tight and do a drop or 5 on the wick and coil. And without skipping a beat I find the very similar experience of decent not exceptional vapor, not like my first experience and NOT LIKE ON TV. I tried VV and VWs running upwards of 4.2v/8W and the vapor seems to dense. turning it up to a range more like 5v/11W it comes a little drier and puffier, but seems to burn juice VERY quickly ( 2-3 decent vapes for 4-5 drops). While not entirely bummed I am not entirely thrilled. I believe my wicks size are appropriate and they fire nicely. I have used the same atomizers on a back up ego twist at anywhere from 4.0v-4.8 with similar results and kinda stumped at what I am doing wrong. I know that sub OHM stuff is where the huge clouds come from but I was looking for a middle ground while I cut my teeth. It seems like It should be functioning ... Differently.

Maybe your expectations are too high. Most of those reviewers get their mods free and want to make the vendor happy so they will continue to send them stuff. Most of them don't inhale so it looks like the mod produces tons of vapor and some are using 100% VG for large plumes. Not all reviewers do this but it's pretty easy to tell if they inhale or not.
