Yet another Vivi Nova thread. New atty frayed wicks

I just took out a new atty, gave it a quick rinse and blotted it dry. Once it dried I noticed the wicks were kind of frayed and if I rub my fingers on them fibers visably fly off like crazy. Now this worries me for a couple of reasons. I really don't want these fibers in my lungs, I'm not sure if they can get in your lungs from vaping the Nova's with this setup. My other concern was for the loose fibers really screwing up juice in the tank. Should I worry and toss the atty?

What's everyones take on the safety of these fibers?

i wondered that too. except my fraying wasnt on a new one, it was on one that i had vigorously shooken attempting to knock off the gunk from the coil. i shook it up in a glass of vodka and the wicks came out all mangled. i twisted em back up, trimmed the super flayed parts and it vapes fine.
