Hi All,
Sorry if I post this in the wrong place but I could not find the sub forum where to post this.
Has anyone tried this mod and is it REALLY worth the money they ask for this device considering that 95% of suppliers only give a 30 day warranty? IMHO there are far better TC mods available at a fraction of the price.

depends on you, i have the ML, feature loaded, great small and heavy feeling mod, i think its worth it if you can get it at a discount

if you're tight, there is many mods available for under $60 that fits your needs and with features of a 200$ mod

it all depends if you want to spend that extra dough for a better made mod with a feature loaded chip

In your opinion you answered your own question, as you're aware, there's a ton of quality mods for 1/3 the price.

In today's vapeworld it's overpriced IMO and now worth half of what I paid for it.

I own one,
Pros: fantastic feature rich chipset and a great quality mod in general.

Cons: battery access sucks and it's way to heavy in the pocket.

More powerful, yes............Far Better, not so much.
First thing you do is update - that adds SS and TCR setups and your pretty much set for anything going.
No need for fancy software unless your just in to it.

I have nearing 50 mods, and I can say without a doubt, my SX M Class is far superior to any in my collection.

Mini M Class has been going Fast at $150 on several sites(and lower). Gotta watch for sales. Once gone, they will be gone for good.

I agree.

I was lucky and found a retailer blowing out the Mini M for $60, but I would have no problem paying $200 for a SX Mini M.

Built like a tank and the chipset is fantastic. It is heavy, but that doesn't really bug me.

I have a ML class and love it. YIHI came out with a better battery cap. You can get them at Varitube.

full

If you want the ML class, you might want to hold off until next month when the Q class comes out because vendors will be dropping the price of the ML.

Here's the thread about the ML. NEW YIHI SX MINI ML CLASS!

Great mod and reasonably priced for when it first came out. Haven't been researching it and not sure about the price these days.

I believe prior to the dna200 the yihi sx350 was the most advanced chip back then.

They've come out with the ML class 75W (vs 60 on the M) and they're coming out with the Q 150W dual 18650 sx450 chip.

So you might want to consider them if you're looking for a yihi device.

Kinda a complicated question these days.

I collect mods and have had most of the big name ones. Except for the Provari Radius which I hated and got rid of fast I like them all. I tend to find what they do best and set them up to do just that.

I like the way Yihi handles TC better then DNA but like higher power so mostly use a DNA200 for TC even though I think the SX is better.

Fr my normal wattage vaping of 30-40w I think the SX is the greatest mod ever made but I use my Rollo or Cuboid more due to battery life.

Is the SX Mini the highest quiality mod I've ever had?? Yes. By far. I've never had a mod come anywhere near being as well made. But that said I take care of my stuff so I don't really have any thing bad to say about any of them except the one already mentioned. I still use a year old cHana clone everyday and my iStick 20w is still functioning fine so I can't complain about any of them.

But when all is said and done my first SX Mini is still my baby. Due to single battery it annoy's me some times. That button is always right there. It feels like it was molded to my hands. Never have for a second regretted what I paid for it. You can make a case that my other mods last so long because the SX is so well made it takes most of the use.

Its out dated now I suppose. But its not 200 beans anymore. I have several SX's these days and pick them up cheap. Prices of vape gear have come way down. I'm staring at a Provari 2.5 that I paid car payment money for that I haven't used in Months thats prolly worth maybe 10 bucks used?? My SX is used every day and is prolly still worth 50-100 bucks. I don't even wanna think how much I lost on the Radius.

Yes it is rather heavy and has a sucky battery door, the menu system is rather odd as well.

However, setup well it also performs well. It does not exactly fit into a "bargain bin" as it was a "premium mod" when introduced and still remains so, 1yr later after introduction.

Yes you can get a eLeaf or Joytech device for 1/3 or less of the price but the less expensive mods won't perform like the MiniM. If the less than 40-50$ suit your needs by all means, get one.

(disclaimer: I own 3xSX350J's and both Cuboid and VTC mini mods)

I'm curious why you didn't like the Radius? I thought about getting one when they first came out but then changed my mind and bought a ML class.

40w is my sweet spot. Or less. 40w mods suit my needs very well.

The Radius isn't a real 40w mod. It has limits build into the chip that throttle the power down. I was always taking a vape then checking the mod to see what was wrong as it was always weak. Its basically a 20w or possibly a 30w mod. Its not a real 40w mod.

My work mod is a DNA40 so I know 40 is plenty for me. The Radius sucked.

For people using very low power builds its prolly fine. I'm just not that person.

Is there a reason why you prefer the TC on yihi's chip more than evolves? I'm just curious, I have a DNA133W coming, don't have a mod with yihi's chip and was contemplating on getting one and wanted some opinions..

Interesting, glad I didn't buy one.

Just seems smoother to me on the Yihi chips. However I like a big punch in the beginning followed by TC. I run my DNA200 with a 100w preheat and I love it. When 50J max is enough I prefer Yihi. Don't care for TC with the DNA40's at all.
