Folks we decided to go ahead and put up a pre-sale due to increased interest and requests. Further YiHi cannot prevent vendors from doing so and therefore we felt it necessary to offer the pre-sale to our customer base as well. We are not fans of this approach given Mid to Late March availability but feel compelled to do it at this point.

Right now there are 6 color options....here's 5 of them

I like the black/silver one. Very sharp looking device.

In celebration of my first full year off the stinkies I pulled the trigger on that one and ordered a grey one today from Varitube. :) I also treated myself to 3 new batteries and a Joyetech Delta II from another vendor to go along with it. Now the waiting game begins!!

So Varitube..join me in my celebration and please send out today's orders for Grey SXminis as soon as you guys can ;-)

Thank you for the fantastic news! And yes I had to order it through a third party (who charges me an arm and a leg!). But that's the way things are with vaping and ecigs in Egypt, and by the looks of things if you guys don't act soon, it will also be difficult for you in the States :(

When I get the M class from you guys I promise I will get the batteries with it :) thanks and kudos for being so responsive and diligent in your work!

So they opted to stay with the 18650 battery rather than redesigning for a 26650? Was really hoping they would go that route for the extended battery life;)

It *IS* called the SXmini. I wonder what the chances of them coming out with a dual 18650 "non-mini" edition will be.

Some info on the S Class and M Class Temp vs upgrade since I see quite a bit of discussion across various forums and pages.

I can definitively say that the J board is a new board designed to LIMIT temperature. Its the same base board with different components....newer available technology if you will. Combined with the right software they can manage the temperature of the coil to certain accuracy.

YiHi understands the desire for everybody to want the function via a software upgrade. They listen to customers and like to give what is requested.

The real issue with this one is they have new hardware technology on the J than when they built the regular board. So all they can do is look at a software approach. Did they say its impossible? No. They said they are looking into it in fact but caution it can not be as accurate or reliable as the J board. If they can do it they will but it would not match up to the performance of the J board.

I think its encouraging as always they are listening to their customers. But we need to take a wait and see approach on this one. There is no doubt if they can do it that the control resolution will suffer compared to the M Class device. If thats ok for some people then perhaps an upgrade is good enough should they be able to do it. But lets wait and see. The M class is their priority at the moment.

We just received the final shipment of the existing SXmini S Class. Mostly in black and a few grey. This will be it until the release of the M Class.

The link is here of course @ varitube.com SXmini S-Class

I have been reading about the temp control feature that is coming with the SXmini M class and that you have to use nickel wire with it,is this accurate?

Yes, both DNA40 and SX350J boards require nickel wire for temperature limiting. You can still use kanthal in VW mode. Even if either company allowed kanthal in temperature limiting mode, it wouldn't be as accurate as nickel. You cannot change the laws of physics...
