@Onedesign1 Any plans to update the J box Renegade kit with the 350J-V2 board when it comes out?
absolutely but the chip will be awhile. And the Renegade is upgradable anyhow given its assembled design....just swap the chip. I believe the base board to be the same because the sample ML I have has the M chip in it :)

Can you give us any info on the new wire types I seen Iron, gold and stainless steel. Pretty cool very curious whats up with it.
I;'m not sure they're getting this from. Remember they get requests all the time and I suspect they are trying to say they will support more wire types. I don't research what people are using but I have never heard of those being used and the 1st two seem scary and 3rd cost prohibitive :)

I know there's a new processor and other components at play. I know you will be able to dial in your own vape curve via software, meaning new UI. I know most won't be able to be ported back to the current chip except for maybe wire types.

Its still early and as I always I will try to post here timely as I get more details. I expect 1-2 months before anything hits the market.

edit

They must be talking about kanthal I guess. Kanthal is iron-chromium aluminum but I guess we will see.

So did anypne put the hew SX 350 6w version in the seven30 I wish someone would make a video of that I so tired of box mods that I would love to see a tutorial of someone snstalling the new sx 340 60 watt version in the seven 30 watt but it seems this thread went off track. that would be a great tutorial to see. I am am looking at doing a vamo dna 30 and upgrading it to the DNA 40 that would make a nice upgrade too since you can buy the KSD VAMO DNA 30 the 24 bucks at sweet vapes right now I even have the extra dna 40 just sitting around but I cant find any info on doing the upgrade and right now you find DNA 40s on ebay for 30 to35 bucks since the dna 300 came out is anyone know of a good tutorial on that upgrade or the the sx350 chi in the seven 30 watt please post a link I have had my fill of box mods and I have 2 box nods I am doing right now I doing a custom painted dna 40 mod with dual 18650 in hammond G+ it and a dna 200 in the same box with a different paint job and a Lipo pack in that one so doing a upgrade to a tube mod sounds fun about now since I just did 5 dna box mods over the last few months

I think I have seen that done before. Have you checked on Yihi web page to see if there is a mechanical drawing of the board in the 7/30 to compare board sizes? If it is the same size I think it would be a easy swap. Pull the old one out and solder the new board with the same size leads.

I may be thinking of something else but pretty sure it has been done.

V2 software update: The much anticipated software for the V2 chip will be released shortly. I have been messing with it for a few days and its pretty cool. The chips are in production and not yet available for the modders but it'll be soon. They sport a new processor said to have 10x finer resolution meaning much better accuracy.

Here's a few screen shots I took with some notes I added. Its pretty cool, not complicated, but takes some experimenting...which is what this is all about....dialing in your preferences very finely and saving them. You have 5 custom curves which is just about the vape when you press that fire button the output follows that curve ... and then you have 5 configurations you also can set for wire type, temps, modes, etc.....so it looks like 5 curves per configuration location. So its a large amount of customization possible. Not only can you save them but you can output them to your PC to share with others. While you're making your custom profiles the device is plugged in and live and updates to those settings as soon as Save is clicked.

When it releases they will have an embedded instruction set which I have not yet seen but the software is solid, easy, and functional.

Basically you will see more features on the main SXi screen. ON the connection screen when the device is on and in link mode the device is connected to your PC in Control Mode....meaning as you make changes on your PC you are directly making the changes on the device.

Sample curve I made below. Base setting is 56W and the during fire it ramps to 64w then dips up and down....just wanted to test it and it functions as drawn. You can make 5 custom curves here and save each one.

Setting screen. Here you set all your parameters to each config location...the device has 5. So set 5 curves per config location with your specific parameters. Here you can also output the file to your PC to share with others.

Stay tuned
