So I was talked into a fogger at a shop and although I love it I think I'm over my head. I can't figure out if it's safe to clean it, and for some reason the ring around the bottom that adjusts the airflow won't move. I'm not sure what maintenance I have to do ( I've been shown how to change the cotton but don't know how often to do it, and can't build a coil). Does anyone know of any websites that have info on the fogger? I've looked and can't find anything. Thanks for the patience with the noob.

I will say you have an issue if you can't build a coil, since the Fogger is a rebuildable type tank system. I wish the airflow rings on my Foggers were tighter than they are, since they mostly won't stay set where I put them. It made be that the ring threads are "locked" up. Try putting the base in freezer for a couple hours and see if the cold will loosen them up. Yes, it works sometimes! Good luck with your Fogger. It's a pretty good device if you get it coiled and wicked properly.
It's okay to clean it. Just keep track of all the pieces. I hope the shop that set it up cleaned it prior to building it. Mine came with an oily film on it. Scrubbed it with a toothbrush and dawn dish detergent.
