so i got a fogger yesterday. i don't know if I'm doing something wrong or not but the flavor is not good at all. like not even as good as my nautilus. i built it when i first got it. I built it to .6 and realized that was probably too low but i just went with it. so i wicked and filled it and it tasted like oil. i have seen some other reviews where people said that there foggers came covered in machine oil so i disassembled it and let it soak it hot soapy water for about an hour and then let it air dry. i built it again, this time to .8 but the flavor is still nothing good. I've read dozens of reviews of the fogger saying it was in the ballpark of the kayfun and it was amazing but mine tastes like crap. i put some green apple juice in, a very distinguishable simple flavor, and i don't taste it at all. all the flavors i put in my fogger are very muted. any ideas?

I know there are a few different versions so im not to sure of the differences but I bought one a few months back and it produces some pretty good flavor imo. maybe not quite as good as a kayfun but close. at least in my version which is maybe v-4.2, the channels are to small to really run the tails down so I just place the tails over the holes then I take a small pin and just ever so slightly poke a few strands of the wick tail down into the hole just to keep them in place. I run coil diameters around 1.6 to 2.0 mm and once the wick is threaded thru the coil, I then have to trim some of the tails to reduce the amounts. I would say I trim at least a good 1/4 off of the tails then place them. its a delicate operation because the tails are very short, I mean between the end of the coil and the hole placement its only about 1/4 of an inch. when I trim the tails I only trim about half of the distance making sure I don't trim to close to the end of the coil. also I angle cut the end of the wick tail laying over the channel hole so it sits sort of flush. I run between .4 to .5 ohms using 27g wire. I think lately the move is for larger diameter coils but in this atty its just to much cotton and it just doesn't work as good. I suppose you can use a coil diameter over 2mm but you would have to trim away a lot of the tails.

This is how I feel about the foggers, if you have one it's worth it to set it up and give it a go because it is a very good vape when set up correctly. If your looking to purchase a fogger, imo spend that money on something else because imo build quality isn't very good, it's kind of bulky and is not the easiest to build.
