Its slows down, it really does. I bought a TON of juice when i started although I started with a basic 510 and PT and was very happy with just that hardware until a couple months ago when I got the eGo and a Buzz. My juice buying has gone downa lot though, mostly replacing juice and the occasional 'new flavor' buy and replacement atties. It works out heaps less than smoking, which was a guaranteed $40 - $50 odd per week. Now its about that per MONTH.
Once you find hte right PV and the 'right' juices you'll start seeing savings :)

Start up cost is expensive. Kits, extra battery, atomizers, cartos if you use them, juice, passthrough, pcc, etc etc. Once you have everything and figure out maintenance cost per month for the occasional battery, atomizers or carts it isn't that much. I'm leveling off now and should be able to get my juice supply for $25 bucks a month, a little better if I look for sales, that is if I don't go juice crazy, add another $25 for supplies and I should be able to maintain at $50 a month or less. If I control myself and only get what I NEED and not everything I see.

If moneys really tight I could see someone getting by on about 1/2 that if they absolutely had to.

Sometimes being a compulsive buyer actually saves you. My Hubby had emergency surgery in Mid-May and a 6 week recovery turned into 3 1/2 months. Thankfully before that I'd stocked up on juice and hardware (read "bought a bunch of stuff I really didn't need right then). During this time he got disability that was about a third of our normal income. Our normal cushion had been used in April to fix our son's broken leg and pay for the time hubby had to take off work for that. We were thoroughly screwed financially and only made it with the help of family. If I'd had to buy cigarettes during that time I don't know what I would have done. Thankfully, I just went to my stash of liquid and having to decide between my nicotine habit and wanting to feed myself :). That and being able to sit with him in his hospital room and vape saved my sanity. I'm happy to report that he is doing well and went back to work last week. And I only broke down and smoked a "real cigarette" twice.

I figure with a few dozen cartomizers, ten (total) atomizers, four batteries, a USB 5v PT, about 50 cartridges, and nearly 16oz of juice, I'll be set for a few months at least. I haven't any desire to buy anything else, but geeze, who knew I needed all this stuff? Seriously though, I'm enjoying vaping immensely and my health has been improving steadily. I used to spend easily $20/day on smokes, some cigars, some cigarettes. No longer doing that has shown a surplus of funds I simply didn't realize I had... it's a good thing. :)
