I am a straightforward person. I'm either all-in or all out, and I know what I want. After decades of smoking tobacco, I was introduced to vaping by someone who loves me, and that was it. I was all in.
I quickly replaced the $7 a day cigarette purchase with Kanger Pro-tanks, the most popular Juices, and all that is involved with that. That soon gave way to Kanthal wire. cotton wicks and tiny tools and OHM meters.
Along the way, a funny thing happened. I had a new habit. It was (and is) so different to me that I had to now question everything. Being a realist, I call this a Nicotine delivery system. Vape and Vaping still seem like strange and foreign words to me. I know it's Vapor, not smoke, but people see smoke coming out of my mouth and nose. Their training is really good,,,and they think ",Smoke is bad" . So here I go, explaining myself again, and again. " It's not smoke. It's water vapor" ". It's a Vegetable product". " You won't smell it,,,much" ." It is safe?,"ummmm,,,except I'M not really sure,,,,no-one really knows yet. I am open minded to any research or findings that come out.
But,,,I do not smoke Tobacco. I am skipping the 4oo plus known evil things that go with the combustion of Tobacco and all that goes with smoking. I no longer smell like an ashtray and I must report to you as a Quaisi athlete,,,well...come for a run with me and se how you do.
So,,,where am I going here? Not where You expect. I wanted to tell you about this. About two weeks into my conversion, I spoke to my neighbor who noticed my VAPE. He asked, and I told, and he converted. His quick profile,,,,,,Collegiate record winning athlete,,,,Golf Pro,,,Decades long Smoker of tobacco. I set him up with a Kanger Pro-Tank II, the USB charger,good juice, and cut him loose. Going on Three months, we just had another meeting. He is Vaping proudly and has resumed high level athletic training.
Then,,,,out of the blue, I get a phone call. It was a Rep from a company that I deal with. I have known him forever through all of our business and life adventures, so he was invited to our Christmas party last year. Unknowingly to me (at least at that time) He was watching as my Vape buddy and I Drank like savages and had our own Vape party within the party. We proudly vaped throughout the night and I'm sure we were obnoxious advocates. I remember that he in particular ripped on us the whole night about vaping,,,but this is the kind of friend where you will bust on anything at all that you can get your hands on.
Back to the phone call. Here is my buddy,,,,almost crying. He's says.."I just want to thank you. I have been vaping for a month now and You changed My life. We went into the details,,,but,,,,how much more do you need than a true friend saying,,,Thank you,,,my life has changed.
You can do this too. If You have the money,,,just buy the .... for them and set them up.. Become a missionary even if you have never had a stand or a belief before . I never thought I could make a change. I am never going back to tobacco and I can actually show another person my path and provide them with a solution. I make sure to never condescend,,,I try to go slow,,,I ,show them in tiny steps. If You have the technical prowess,,than you are especially obligated. Keep their .... running with no leaks gurgles, dry hits or whatever.
If You get as lucky as me,,,,and I have a few converts,,,,and they say,,,"You changed my life",,,,,,Then sleep well and know that you did something really good.
