Man, we have then all over Ontario now, time to start the hunt back up. They are becoming a nuisance.

Yup! canceling the spring harvest as caused an over population problem. It is a known problem but the powers to be will not listen, just like any other subject they fail to listen to because of the bleeding hearts.

Ours is overpopulation, there are far too many of the things. We should a) either get out of their habitat or b) do what man loves to do and kill a few.

I am a man. I have never killed anything and unless it was for self-preservation, never will. I agree with hunting rights and gun ownership, but it's just not for me.

I used to hunt when I lived in the kootenays but sold my guns to a gun shop when I moved back here. we always said if you kill it you have to eat it, so leave the squirrels alone. I mostly hunted grouse with a 22. bears scare me, I have to admit. I was walking home one night all loaded. I had about a 4 mile hike home in castlegar. I saw what I thought was a cat and went to pet it, skunk woah. so I bypassed through someone's yard to go around and interrupted a bear raiding a garbage can. it reared and came my way. I looked back as I jogged and the sucker started chasing me down the street. wow panic. I cut through yards and hurdled fences to get some space, considered just diving into someone's house through a window lol. fear doesn't give rational decisions, neither does mind altering things.

man we used to drive into the dump late at night with the lights off and then flip them on when down close. they could have peeled my cortina open like a candy wrapper if they wanted but seemed fun at the time freaking them out. we feel so powerful when in a car sometimes.

I haven't even killed anything for self preservation :) I'd be more inclined to get out of their habitat. I was clearing off some property up north yesterday and felt bad when the chipmunks were chattering at me for disrupting their lives everytime I cut the engine to take a break. At the same time being very happy that I did have my 3 saws with me making all sorts of noise so a bear wouldn't poke by.
