You can't see sent messages?

How come when you go to you "sent message" box there is nothing? Why doesn't it keep your sent messages? I don't think I have ever seen a forum that doesn't let you keep your sent messages, maybe I'm doing something wrong?

I have all of mine. Maybe there is a specific box you have not put a check mark in. I'll go look at mine and see how it is set up.

There is a box that you have to click at the bottom of the message to save them. HTH

UserCP ->Settings and Options->Edit Options->Messaging and Notifications

Put a checkbox in the "Save a copy of sent messages in my Sent Items folder by default" option.

My guess is they have it disabled by default to save on database storage. Running very large forums means the database gets big. The smaller you can keep it, the better off you are. A wise choice on the webmasters part...

Down at the bottom choose to save sent messages

The check box also appears below your message every time you send one so you can decide which messages you would like to keep in case every message is not a "keeper"
