I've been curious about APVs and learning a little about them with an eye to the future. But I never expected to ever be so lucky...

A local veteran vaper had decided to PIF her Lambo to a newer vaper, and I was the extremely lucky beneficiary!

After providing shipping information, we discovered we live in the same city (what a coincidence!!) so I was able to go meet her to pick it up. Had a great chat--she was a WEALTH of useful information and tips... and she even let me sample a juice I was instantly in love with. I watched her pull a brand new atty and drip tip from the packages, assemble them on a little battery, and drip the juice into it for me to try. When I finished puffing and set it down, she removed atty and tip from the battery and plunked them in the little box I'd brought... insisted I keep them, and wouldn't accept a dime!!

Time and again, I've been blown away with the generosity and helpfulness of the vaping community, but this experience humbled and inspired me another several notches. I thanked her profusely and kept insisting that there must be something I could do for her, but she repeatedly waived it off and asked me simply to "pay it forward".

So I will.

My neighbor will be starting vaping as soon as her stuff arrives in the mail, hopefully in the next few business days. She started very small, and will only have one complete PV to start. I've decided that with the Lambo, I have enough parts to spare one of my 1000mA eGo batteries, so I'll be PIFing that, as well as a new atty and driptip to her, so she can drip to sample new flavors or get a break from whatever she has in her tankomizer, and always have a charged battery to do it with. In addition, I'll hook her up with a few juice samples, and as our tastes seem to differ, she can have some hand-me-down juices of her choosing that I doubt I'll ever want to try again.

As for me, I'm just loving the Lambo. I've hardly even explored it's capabilities, as I have mostly LR stuff to fit at the moment. The SR stuff needs a connector to fit that's still in transit. Soon soon! I hunted and downloaded the manual for it, and am planning a purchase of spare battery and charger. (It had enough charge so that I could enjoy a few dripped puffs right away!) Now I'm just itching for a chance to order up the mini nova I've had my heart set on.... and mayyyyybe eventually a full metal rebuildable.

She's a true kind spirit in that she didn't really want me bragging her up on here, so I'll reluctantly let her remain nameless. You know who you are and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I'm encouraged and inspired to follow your great example, and I hope you've inspired others here to do or continue to do the same..... as she kept asserting.... it's all about getting and keeping others off the stinkies!

Your going to like! It was my first mod as well. Till you get the provari fever

heheh.... my benefactor loves her Provari too. I've yet to hear from anyone who doesn't for that matter! We'll see what the future brings. If vaping is a "season" for me to become smoke and nicotine free, I'll never need one. If I'm going to continue at 0nic (when I get there) then it's something I'm sure I'll eventually arrive at.

and oooooo..... *someone* has a one year anniversary RIGHT around the corner! woot woot!

My first foray into tube mods was this thing's precursor. It's a lot of fun. I love having the flexibility to tweak my vape to how I like it, and it helped me eventually settle on the Provari. Enjoy!

Thanks MisterMike, I have been! I like the weight and the fact that I can stand it on my desk without worrying it will topple over (like a tall eGo). I'm experimenting with vv and quite intrigued to find the "sweet spots" for different juices.

I just dropped my nic down from 18 to 15 but I don't plan on quitting vaping any time soon

I've recently been learning that nicotine, while still a toxin and substance that must be treated with respect has been somewhat unfairly villified, when the real worst culprits are the chemicals that accompany it in an analog. Thus, I've relaxed a little on my aggressive reduction plan. I have a mixture of 24s, 18s, and 15s in my arsenal right now, and I vape then all at different times. I'll still be looking to reduce my intake over time, but now I no longer have the fire under me.... we'll just take it slowly and see where it goes.

They take an 18650 correct?

Yes, BrianCig, and thank you very much for the links.... very kind of you! But for now, I'm set. One battery came with it, and I was able to obtain one more and a very basic single charger locally at a reasonable cost. In addition, another forum member had a couple that were no longer useful to him so he's offered to send them to me. *head spinning* I sincerely hope I can eventually bring as much value to this community as has been offered to me. Such a helpful, kind, generous bunch. Y'all make me proud to be associated with you.

*ahem*
/gushy mode -off
lol ;)
