Your advice please

Hello Everyone,

Best thing I like about eCig (beside the fact that you don't smell like a .....) is the fact you can vipe/smoke almost anywhere and save your time from going outside every 20 minutes.

I started using eCig almost 3 months now, first I started with blu-cig kit and it was good but the fact that I have to buy a pack every 2 weeks was a killer for me (I used to smoke 1 regular cig pack every day) plus it was not strong.

I tried eGo battery but the quality is bad (sorry eGo fan), 2 batteries died in a month, but it was very strong (good).

Now I use johnson creek, the battery is very very good quality (but ego was stronger) with vea canteen but I can't afford to buy vea canteen every 3 weeks (shipping cost).

I'm leaving outside US and the shipment is very costly (x2 the order).

I need your advice please

I'm looking for:

1. Good canteen that I can replace the part very easy and I can find the parts locally anywhere
2. Canteen that can work with johnson creek battery if possible or suggest a good battery but easy can put it in my pocket with strong battery (I can charge every day).
3. Good quality.

In general I'm just looking for something that can last for long time (remember shipment is costly for me) and I can fix the canteen easily

I'm not a eCig expert and most of the reviews here and technical names confused me

I saw many reviews about KangerTech but when I went to the website, I was confused more from the tooooo many parts and options , I don't want the start kit because again I can't guarantee it will be easy to fix the canteen from local part.

Hello and welcome!

The Vea is very similar to an eGo, it might even be a rebranded one, but I can't recall if it has 510 threading or not. I have a feeling the threading might be proprietary, in which case it would be a better idea to get a 510 threaded device, so you can buy from vendors other than Johnson Creek.

Questions: 1) You say buy locally, do you mean in a shop or an online vender that ships locally to wherever you are? 2) Are you looking for a device that is the same eGo-type shape or would a box shape or larger tube device be okay?

Regarding the eGo, you get what you pay for. There are many clones around, but the authentic devices are less trouble. My Joyetech eGos and Twists still work fine after 2+ years.

1- I mean local shop to buy a cotton/something and replace what inside the canteen so I don't have to order online and this is faster. eGo type shape is ok since I tried it and it's not small/big
2- I would love your recommendation, if you can point me to a trusted website and list of items that I should buy, Im afraid to buy something then wait for 2-3 weeks after the shipment arrive to discover that the items are not compatible or someone sold me a cheap clone

eGo batteries (whether authentic or generic) have specific threading:

I can't remember if the Vea has the same threading or one specific to Johnson Creek.

This is a nice kit. If you pay extra and add a Kanger Protank II you can rebuild the coils yourself. There are videos on youtube on how to do it. It isn't difficult.

Two spinner 2's and two mini pro tanks for 70 bucks is a pretty solid starter kit. Pair that with some tasty juice and you should be doing well.

Unfortunately, while a solid battery, the Triton has 808 threading which limits the number of compatible juice delivery systems.
