I've been digging spaced coils the past month or so and have stepped up my diameter without a loss in flavor. Running an unregulated bottom feeder. 25 gauge, 2.4 mm ID, 3 spaced wraps dual coils in a cyclone and A6 and 24 guage, 3mm ID, 3 spaced wrap duals in the Derringer.
my drilled out subtank mini base, this is its 5th day without rewicking and still no problems whatsoever , in fact it is the best flavor I have ever gotten of an ecig :
For the subtank rba, I run anything from a 3.5mm single coil 24 gauge, around .5 to .8 Ohms, to a dual coil 2mm, running around .5 to .6 Ohms. It works well for this setup.
I like dual parallel, 24 awg, 6 wraps, ohms out to .16-.18. Great flavor and good vapor production.Was wondering about everyone who makes their own coils, what is your favorite builds? Do you stick to single,dual,triple coils? (or higher) would love to see pics if possibleHeres mine, a bit blurry
I too am digging spaced 2.5 to 3mm coils. They run cooler and seem to have more flavor, density, and cloud.

Ive always had trouble wicking spaced coils, ive wicked it 100 different ways and the cotton inside the coil dries out before the ends do
Twisted 26 AWG Ni200, single, spaced, 3mm inside diameter, 6/7 wraps, 0.08 ohms...closing in on 25ml of juice on this build without a hitch.
Thats a sign that they are choking from being too tight. Try and use less and less cotton untill you see that they are drying out from the tails up. :?)

Lemos atop Vaporsharks, these are my daily vapes - 1.2ohms @ 15 watts.
Any dripper on a mech, fun at home - 0.3 ohms.
Lemos atop Vapor Flasks, 2 18650's = gobs of battery life - .77 ohms @ 20 watts.
That's about all I do.

Nothing fancy here, really. I do a simple parallel dual coil build that comes out to .6Ω and usually run it between 30-35 watts, depending on the juice.
My current stable build is 24g 7/8 wrap, 1/8" (3mm) single coil in a Buddha mini, at 15-18W power.
Here's some. I can't quite remember all of the ohms though.

Its actually 1 post and you trap the leads for negatives. It's the Odin from Lokilab. These are the bottomfed version, but they make standard versions as well for dripping.
Is there a difference with parallel wrapped coils?24G dual parallel at 0.18 ohms. Hot n heavy
