I'm interested in trying those Hybrid bottom feeding atomizers from COV. Just waiting for stock. Right now, I'm using some dual coil cartos that say "AV DC1.5" on them. Working pretty good, but not better than an LR306.

Edit: NM, they are Vapage ones and vapage.com has them in stock now. These should work in a Reo, right?

Be advised, there has been reports of the vapage Hybrid atty causing shorts in the REOs. I think it has to do with the battery post sticking out too far. It may be that vapage has updated their attys and they work now, but I would do a little research on the reos-mods forum to be sure. I think the universal hybrid attys from other venders don't have this problem. Also, I heard mention that using these vapage hybrids will null the warrenty on your REO, but I don't know if that's still the case.

I'm in no way an expert on the REOs, so I would urge you to check the reos forum. There's a thread call "Hybrid attys question" which should provide you with some information. You could also pm rob to get it right from the horses mouth.

Yeah I used Cisco 1.5 306s for a minute, but they are expensive, and I don't think they last long enough to warrant the premium price. Plus the variety from atty to atty in terms of draw resistance, warmth of vapor, and length of time lasted all vary just as much as any other brand. I have recently purchased a batch of LR 510s from sweetvapes.com and love the easy draw and the price: 1/2 of Ciscos!!! While quality varies as much as other brands, I am overall very happy with these attys.

To be fair, one of them has come DOA, but the rest have been really nice.

I'm glad that you found something that you like. Honestly, "favorite attys" vary as much as "favorite juice". I think the main trick to vaping is finding the individual combo that works best for you.

I recently got a new Reo Grand that is beautiful, and added a couple attys to try them out. I think I was accidentally given a carto instead, and I must say that it is an unbelievable vape! I believe it is a Smoketech 1.7, but I don't know if it's an XL, or if its 2.0. anyway with BWB peach it is the best combo I have tried yet.

What is the difference between single and double coil when it comes to cartos? This is a new journey I am just beginning!!
