I was around smokers within days of switching to
vaping. Truth is, and one of the most amazing things to me about switching, I had no desire at all to have a cigarette with them. Normally, with other stop-smoking programs, I would have wanted to tear someone's head off, or need to be physically restrained or something....
BTW, I kept to my regular little smoking 'rituals' after switching (with my coffee, going outside, after meals, taking regular 'vape' breaks instead of smoke breaks, etc.), which I thought helped tremendously. It became more like I had just "switched brands", rather than quit smoking. This thought was also very helpful, and really kept me off the stinkies.
Do what you have to do, play whatever mind tricks on yourself that you must, and tell yourself whatever lies you need to tell.
vaping will successfully KILL the nicortine cravings (which is what it is ALL about, imo), and made it easier to quit cigarettes than anything I could have imagined in my wildest dreams.
