Though I have weighed in on this thread earlier, I have to agee with THICKFOG'S comment. Once you experience +5 volts on an atomizer, you will become a power freak in an instant. You will be quickly hooked on decent throat hit and vapor volume. I am not one to be on the cutting edge of progress, but 6+ volts over an atomizer is way cool and most satisfying.

I agree 5v is best. I tried 6v but I take very long draws and sometimes two draws before exhaling. This is how I smoked analogs and 6v got two hot and burnt taste. My best is a 901 passthru mod with 5v 1.5a battery pack.
