Okay...Let's hear it, the problem with vendors that annoy you the most.

You only get one problem that bothers you!
Pick the worst one!

My problem is as follows:

I use clearomizers almost exclusively. I've watched the videos, practiced on my own, but cleaning them is a roll of the dice. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I spend all that time cleaning them only to find out I probably burnt them, and now they don't wick correctly. Any e-juice inside is now down the drain and all that time is just wasted. I know, I know, they are meant to be disposable, but...

Well...That's my ....h, what's yours?

I hate when you buy 10 atomizers and have ordered dozens in the past, the vendor wants you to send 1 dud atomizer back instead of just adding one to the next order. They know that most likely, I wont be spending 2 dollars to send back an atomizer with delivery confirmation. It makes warranties on small items BS.

One vendor that has always treated me well is Clouds of Vapor. He treated me right on my first order and dozens of orders after that.

I love that chubby guy, and I would invite him to Thanksgiving.

My primary source of entertainment here is the folk that spend all that time cleaning burnt clearomizers/atties/cartos trying to extend the normal life span, posting in da wrong forum and then blaming vendors! lol.gif

And OCCUPY WALL STREET!

Which makes this thread even more entertaining and my mission accomplished! thumbsup.gif

BTW, your not objecting to my freedom of speech, are ya? popcrn.gif

I'm sorry...

You may be wrong on one point though...

Just what is your definition of normal life span for a $3.00 clearomizer?
Oh...You don't know?
Don't be too concerned...The vendors selling them don't know either!
That is a PROBLEM!
Oh...You want to vape the expensive juices, they ask?
Yeah...The juices that really taste great, I say!
Well...Good luck with that, they say!

Ask any vendor how long a cartomizer, atomizer or clearomizer should last and they don't know!
That is a PROBLEM!

If we all stick our heads in the sand it will not get any better!

I am so glad you are not having any problems Iffy!
You are about the only person I have heard of that thinks our available vapor gear has reached the pinnacle of perfection, and improvements aren't necessary.

What peeves me most: My favorite vendors going on vacation or closing their site for weeks and not leaving anyone to man the store. WTH?? I've only been vaping for 9 months and it's happend four times. Not a good marketing strategy with customers addicted to nic.

Like most: Reading posts by Iffy when he gets fiesty :pop::pop:

Oh...You don't know?

Noper, I don't know, 'cause I've monitored the 'traffic' here on the ECF without falling for da hype and never bought any due to the thumbs down for 'em.

I am so glad you are not having any problems Iffy!

What the eff are you babbling about now? I never said any such thing! Dude, ya need to up your nic level and/or lay off the imagination distorting substances! I've ridden and appreciate the learning curve enough that after 2PAD for 45 years, I'm thoroughly enjoying being 'bakky free.

And ya was doin' so well with your first statement above...

OK, maybe ya got caught at the bottom end of da vaping bell curve. But ya gotta admit that cleaning burnt cartos is kinda humorous... c'on... cantcha grin a lil'. Let's shake tambourines and vape our azzes off!

When vendors are of stock of the flavor, size or color I want. I am convinced it is an evil genius marketing scheme. I go ahead and order because I need things. Then when that thing was out is back in, I have to make a new order to which I usually feel I need to add a few more things either to get free shipping or because I feel dumb making an order that is less than ten bucks.

Burns_erin,

Don't you just hate it that the day after you order your second choice, because the first choice was out of stock, EVERYTHING is in stock again!

Boodles,

I'm right with ya.
WTF is with the "Gone Fishin" signs?

We need to conduct a business lesson 101:
You have an internet business.
You do not have bricks and mortar.
The internet operates 24/7 ALL 52 weeks a year!
YOU DO NOT HAVE A DOOR TO HANG A "GONE FISHIN" SIGN ON!
Time to either man-up or hire someone.
Oh...I forgot, there are not many people looking for jobs right now.

UHHHHH!!!!

Wyojoe, I know what the op means. Sometimes when I am vaping too aggressively or not watching what I am doing when dry burning I have managed to scorch the wicks. Then they will not wick right if at all. The only thing to do there is replace the wick which is a pain, especially since it is hard to just buy the wick. I usually end up cutting the wick in half to cut out the scorched segment, and sliding one half at a time for reuse. This is obviously not optimal, but it does work.

I have burned the devil out of my Clearomizers coils and have never harmed one. I pull the tube off and rince the whole unit in running water, then blot the wicks with a paper towel and blow any excess water from the little cup that holds the coil and then put it on a battery and watch as it vaporizes the water and gives off water vapor and keep doing this ( pressing the button until you see the coil start to glow wait a couple of seconds and do it again until you see the coil light up very quickly, then you will see white ash on the coil and if it real bad you can brush it off with a small brush or tooth pick and Dry Burn again until the coil glows very quickly and your ready to put it back together) I hope this is of some help. I do like the clearo's because they are the only carto that you can clean and have it work like new again. But it does take a little messing around with them.
