The most annoying part...

It takes twice as much time to pack up my ecig stuff to walk out the door, than it takes to put on my makeup. 8-o

I agree with the OP...if this was all that was available instead of analogs... I probably never would have taken up the nicotine habit due to all the preparation fuss.

Also, factor in switching brands/models on an ecig versus analog brands... Quite costly!

But... all in all, I am thrilled that I made the switch. ;)

PS... I have never in my life had a "garage sale" until I started vaping.... LOL Right back to the whole switching brands/model things... then switching back again. :-x

The thing I find most annoying is the mess I make when I DIY. Juice all over my hands, the table and bottles. And yes, I use a funnel..lol
I bake, so I am used to messes, but at least you can lick your fingers when you bake.
Other then that..I love it! Battery changing, atty's making weird noises, cart that need filling, all of it.
When my grandson said I smelled like chocolate and didn't wrinkle his nose made it all worthwhile.

The second is no dizzy buzz. I've mentioned this before and I know lots of people say good ridance to it. But every once in a while, not all the time but now and then, I like the feeling you get when you haven't smoked for hours or even a day or more for whatever reason and you smoke one cigarette and it hits so hard you can't stand up straight.

Gonna go out on a limb here and agree with you...for me, when I'm stressed out so far I'm vibrating with anger/anxiety/frustration/whatever, I want a hit so hard I am dizzy...then I can just relax and enjoy the smoking/vaping experience!

My cure to this is to keep a bottle of 36mg made specially for that purpose. Normally I use 10.8mg juice (I DIY, this is what my mix comes out to be when I get it all mixed up) That dizziness of vaping an entire cartridge of 36mg is wonderful when times are rough...

My boyfriend (who has never smoked) would be horrified to read that :( Glad he doesn't follow me here..hehe

Oh, and for my pet peeve about vaping, it would be the unreliability of the foreign-made parts. Curing that by ordering a Prodigy though :D

the most annoying thing to me would be the fact that for months I have been encouraged and encouraging others to stockpile parts and juice in the event of a possible ban. I have a considerable supply on hand for myself...but still feel guilty when a friend or family members is down to thier last battery, atomizer or bottle of juice. I guess this is not so much as annoying as it is a personal gripe. The other annoying aspect of e-smoking to me is Co-Workers seeing me with my PV and expecting me to do the ordering for them, when I am always willing to direct them here for information and direct links to a multitude of listed suppliers. That is annoying not a gripe!:)The Wiz!

I can really relate to this. I've a couple of friends that want to try it. I've explained to them the necessity of having a computer or a family member with a computer that can order for them. They say, "can't you do it for me?". When I explain to them the difficulty if I start doing this for others (collecting the money, possible delivery if requested, etc.) they look at me as if I'm refusing to help a good friend. It's just that I want to keep that good friend, and this could cause problems.

I just gave a friend about 40 to 50 dollars worth of stuff, and she is a sweetheart (who hasn't had her daughter order anything yet) and she called me the other night and asked if I had any menthol juice she could try. I wanted to say "do you realize how much this costs?", I've already given her 15ml, two batteries, two atomizers, one charger and a carrying case. She isn't selfish, she just doesn't stop to think about the cost and even the hassle of keeping everything going.

I almost don't want to see everyone vaping for this reason...........people bumming carts and juice

I can so relate to that.

Last night my dad was here, - i got him hooked on the dura-c which he loves. So he comes here, takes a look at all my gear and goes "wow" - then we proceed to try it out, - fine. Problem is that i ordered some juice, which he was to pickup his part of the order, 2 bottles of menthol. So he gets those, and then he spots my own dura-c passthrough - and my PCC for the dura-c. He looooves them. And then he wants to buy them - and i go oh ok - cause frankly ive got enough gear, so i sell it to him at the cost price ( used for 2 days ) so essentially im losing the shipping - then he says "oh let me try this one out" and reaches out for MY menthol - since his wasnt opened yet and proceeds to vape for the next 5 hours on it. Didnt wanna say anything.

During that time he tries some other stuff on the side, and decides he wants those too, as if im the friggin juice supplier - and then he also needs extra atomizers...

Short story ( became long ) im out 4 bottles, 2 atomizers, one usb passthrough and one PCC - and i lost around 30 dollars on it all in all. Grand.

20 minutes after he left, my sister calls ( shes also into it now ) and asks if i have some spare ry-4.

I think im going to have to email them all, and draw a line : might as well, cause its over the top now! Either that, or just next time charge them shipping, handling ( from my hand to theirs ), tax, and service. ;)

*heres your bill*

I talked to my friend last night who thinks it's so grand now that she is getting some menthol from me (as well as the $40 to $50 worth of stuff I GAVE her) and I mentioned I was making a case for my SD, which is going to take me quite some time to make.........................you guessed it, when I told her she said, "oh goody, can you make me one?"

Burning through 2 batteries at a drinking stag party was the only time I was left high n dry.
Carrying gear? Always had a cig case with me. Converted it in Feb to carry 2 batteries, a pin-push,and an extra atty. Instead of the Zippo in my front pocket it's now a juice bottle.

My main annoyances are ending and starting a new atty and the occasional "shot in the mouth" when a cart leaks or tainted condensation gets past the mouth piece. The latter happens less since using teabags as my batting.

Sharon: Just tell her, sure i can - but ill have to work on the prizes for the materials, and so on first - ill let you know!

That will give her time to think about whether or not she will pay for it - and also a kind way of letting her know it will cost you money to make you know?

Thanks nos2k, but she probably wouldn't understand that. She's the sweetest lady in the world, a little dense, but sweet and so funny because of her honesty. She says things most people wouldn't dream of saying and we all get the biggest kick out of her. She's also a very generous person. She hasn't much money, but she's ALWAYS giving of herself and her time. Guess that's why it was so good to be able to give to her.

Not sure how I'm going to handle this. I too pride myself on honesty and I'm a terrible liar. I can't say I'm running out of stuff because the next thing you know I'd be talking about all the stuff I've got stock piled and tell on myself. I think I may, after I give her some menthol and "maybe" make her a case just start saying "I think I better hold onto my stuff so I don't run out" and leave it at that. She's a great lady and I think she'll get the picture without getting angry. If she were to get angry (which I don't think she would) well, then so be it.

Or.. and this is just an idea , you could set her hair on fire and then scream "I GUESS NOW YOU WANT TO BORROW SOME WATER HUH?" at her, and see.. well how it goes from there?

No?

Okay then

It sure is ;)

What does DH stand for though? ...Dead Hamster? ..youre making me nervous.

;) No, not dead hamster nor is it dead hubby, right now it stands for dear hubby. Never thought it could mean anything else, now you have me thinking I need to change it to something else.
