Howdy everyone, The mad mad mad Texan here.
I thought I'd post a fun thread about something I did yesterday that still has me reeling and (kinda) laughing at myself.

I had a huge calculus test today, and needless to say yesterday I was in full cram mode. I took a nice pull on my Mutation V4 and noticed that slight burnt flavor telling me it's time to re-drip. Lately I've begun to take the entire assembly rather off than just the cap (because I hate fiddling and turning it to get the airholes right.) I'm not sure what distracted me, I think it was something to do with the chain rule, or maybe it a problem on limits at infinity. I put my rig down and started working on a problem, completely forgetting that I had pulled the housing off leaving my wick and coil exposed. When I was done with the problem, I didn't even look down as I reached for it to take a celebratory pull and put the extremely hot coil right to my upper lip. Instant burn.

LOL I couldn't help but laugh at myself. It bubbled up immediately to which I promptly scraped off with my teeth. Now every time I vape I feel a slight twinge when I put my chuff to my lips.

So how about you guys? Any funny or embarrassing vape moments you want to share?

Hahahahaha, thats good. Yesterday i put a brass screen under my drip tip on the crown to stop the spitback. Welllll I forgot it was in there and put a q-tip down through and shoved the screen all the way down in to the coil. What a pain.

The zipper lip burn scar is the worst.

New customer walks in local vape shop, while browsing and looking cool does the "coil kiss".
Everyone in the store wishes they had been filming.

Haha. Ive had that happen a few times, luckily didnt fire, but it was still hot.
I once didnt lock my mod decided to build on it, Accidentally pressed th fire as I was holding the coil in place with my thumb... ouch.
Another time, Had both coils on a screwdriver (As I like to build on the same side, use the same piece of cotton for both coils.... ) and (Not even accidentaly, just without thinking) Fired the mod... Shorted out , Both coils broke, had to rebuild.

Yeah, I've burned a few coils just not even thinking. I doubt those will be the last times too.

Dont drip and drive:
I was driving, pulled my chuff out, set on dashboard, took cap off my bottle set on dashboard, dripped, put chuff on the bottle set it down, put cap on RDA and went to puff. Spilt a little juice, felt like an idiot. I didn't fire it, I felt the plastic cap. Glad I was alone.

Friend asked me to show him a cloud, tank was almost empty and I was going to change out my coil to a lower ohm one, removed my coil head, filled the tank put it back together and drank a bunch of juice since I forgot to put the other head in >.< safe to say he wasn't impressed by my vaporless juice spitting.

I recently put my unicorn bottle inside my Artic tank and I was squeezing it to death to get more liquid out because it felt like it was taking forever to get some liquid out to fill up the tank! WELP that was a BAD idea! All of a sudden the top comes off of the unicorn bottle and BOOM like 10-12 ml spilt everywhere all over me! I was ...... but couldn't help to laugh at myself.

Friend asked me to rebuild the coil in her tank. I've been dripping for a year and forgot all about tanks.
I opened the tank facing up, emptied it on my pants.
Smelled nice at least.

While I haven't kissed one yet, the other day I was rebuilding my Odin and was getting ready to wick it. So I grabbed the bottom of my Reo with my left hand and the atty with my right to take it off. Well about that time the side of my hand hits the fire button, perfect 7 wrap burn on my index and thumb of my right hand.

I have to say as a welder that was the most pleasant burn I've ever had, after the initial pain was gone there was no blister whatsoever. Just a very hard "cooked" area where my skin had touched the coils. The worst part really was I had to rebuild again since little bits of me were seared on the coil.

Might have added to the flavor you're correct, but what happens if I get a taste for vaped flesh? I'll tell ya then I'd be a vape zombie craving my next hit of epidermis, and the outlook on zombies is bleak these days. All I would have to look forward to is a walk on role in The Walking Dead, with my Reo full of Alexandrite pieces.

And in my book getting killed by a Beiber haired kid in a Sheriff's hat would be down right degrading. So I rebuilt.
