Metal drip tip + Usb passthrough=dangerous (but mostly hysterical)

LOL just thought i'd share my stupidest ecigg moment so far....I've been using a USB PT and a 510 atty and metal drip tip my friend gave me...Not sure how it happened or anything but i SOMEHOW managed to shock myself pretty good!! I wasn't paying attention one day put it to my lips pushed the button and suddenly OW!!! WTH!?!? So i dripped 2 more drops wiped off the whole thing and did it again...Same result! Finally i realized i was getting electricity and decided i should go take a nap for being that tired and paying that little attention haha

Won't hurt you much. Its like testing a 9volt battery with your tongue lol. Anyway you must be touching the negative side of the battery for that to happen and have sweaty hands or something. Never had that happen but can see how it could happen with a metal case on your pv.

LOL nah didn't hurt much just enough for me to kinda yell What the hell?!?!! and try it again like 2 more times before i realized what was happening lol

Sounds like someone needs to buy a plastic tip for the USB....

I think I would try to figure out what is shorting before I pluged that back into a USB connector more so if it's connected to my PC

I use a metal drip tip and USB PT at work and haven't been shocked yet (....knocks on wood). Definitely check the wiring on your PT.

It only happened once and hasn't happened again since and i haven't had a single other issue since so im not too too worried plus its a brand new PT
