Currently an IT Systems Administrator, before that I owned a printing and design company. Before that I was the gm and mktg mgr for a beer wholesaler.


Some of my best friends were loggers, or ex-loggers, when I lived in WA state...

Yeah, aren't we all. I got out of it over 10 years ago. Saw signs of the wholesale segment of it suffering. In the late late 70's and 80's it was a hoot, but then things begin to change. The fun wasn't there anymore and the profit squeeze from both retailers and brewers began. I'm glad I got out when I did. It's very hard work and the inter-brand competition is very strong. Treat the next "beer guy" you see with some respect - they deserve it and seldom receive any...
