That looks like everything that you would need to start, all you would need is some juice and you are good to go!

Just my 2 cents, but I would look into getting a spinner or twist. That way you are less likely to upgrade sooner. Now the regular battery that comes with the kit might be perfect for you, and you might have no interest in a VV device, but its something you might want to look into.

Here is a link to a twist:

Tornado eGo-C Mega VV Twist Battery 1000mAh.

Hi John

Welcome, and good luck. I'm also in the uk. I started off with a cig-a-like and recently bought a couple of eGo-T kits from el-cigarettes.co.uk. They're £12.99 for a 1100 battery, CE4 clearomiser and a usb charger, and seem to be ok. As others have said, all you'll need to add is some juice. And they charge £2.99 for shipping. Mine arrived within a couple of days.

Happy shopping!

What are your intentions with the kit? Are you hoping to quit smoking altogether or merely have a nicotine alternative available for certain situations where you can't smoke.

The first thing I notice from the picture in your link is the short battery. And, only one battery. 400 mah rating is equal to 4 hours use. If you smoked only 5-6 cigarettes a day this setup could work. Any heavier than that you're gonna need two batteries, and with a higher mah rating.

Mah rating is the average time a battery can be expected to be used between charges. 1 hour is equal to 100 mah. 4 hours is equal to 400 mah. Get the concept?

The very least I recommend people purchase is two 600 mah batteries. That gives you at minimum 12 hours awake-time battery use for the entire day, and allows one battery to be charging while you vape on the other.

One clearomizer? Ain't gonna work. Many clearomizers are dead on arrival, or die within the first couple of days. Some may last 2-4 weeks of use. They are very inconsistant in quality and in vaping enjoyment. You'll need 2-3 for your first month. Better yet, a backup juice delivery system like some cartomizers to go along with the clearomizers should they be a bust.

You can get that kit in the link if you only wish to test if e-cigs might be worth it to you to try, but you could get something less expensive like a disposable at a gas station if that is your intention.

But in no way will that one kit alone be adequate to quit smoking. You must consider useful battery time that will be available for the length of time that you are awake to vape. And you must figure that the juice delivery devices (clearomizers, cartomizers, etc) are disposable devices only meant to last 2-4 weeks long each.

I should have asked this at the beginning. How much do you smoke? Need that information to advise what strength nicotine to get in your e-liquid flavors.

Most vapors use 3-5 ml of e-liquid a day, so figure accordingly. Juice flavors can be very hit or miss, so I wouldn't buy a large quantity of any particular flavor at the beginning. You may go through 10 juice flavors before you find one that you really like.

So I advise, purchase multiple flavors in 10 - 15 ml size bottles until you find a winner you like, and then purchase a larger bottle of that flavor for future use. Many online custom juice vendors offer sampler packs to allow you to try multiple flavors in the hope you find a winner among them. For example, Virgin Vapors offers sample flavor packs: http://www.virginvapor.com/collections/organic-e-liquid

I've written several articles on vaping in my blog, and below are two that would be of interest to you:

For a non variable voltage device, I used about 3 ml/day coming off decades of pack a day (PAD) smoking. Some get by on 2 ml/day, but 3 is a decent amount for initial planning.

As a full strength cigarette smoker (Marlboro reds), 24 mg/ml was a good strength, though some people would use a 30 mg/ml, others would use a 16 - 18 mg/ml (there's variability in how we react to the nicotine in vaping, in part related to our technique/experience).

A lights smoker might do okay with a 16 - 18 mg/ml, with some only needing a 10 - 12 mg/ml, others needing a 24 mg/ml.

Some people may find they don't do so well with either PG, or VG, or particular flavorings, sensitivity. This is pretty rare, but does happen. As such, if I was a brand new vaper, coming from full strength cigarettes, I'd probably get one bottle each of an all PG 24 mg/ml and an all VG/organic flavoring 24 mg/ml, to cover my bases. The odds are good that I could use both of those eliquids just fine, but if one didn't sit right by me, I could try the other.

If the 24 turns out a bit too strong, it can be cut a little with plain distilled water or glycerine USP (probably Glycerin BP in the UK -- pharmaceutical grade, we get it as Glycerin USP Skin Protectant here in the US, near the bandaids at a pharmacy, the ingredients are ONLY glycerin 99.5%, it's a thick, clear, liquid).

I would go with something with better battery life.
The same site also has this:
The VE Riva 1100 Deluxe Kit £34.95 - Deluxe Vaping Kits - Riva 1100 Kit Electronic Cigarettes | Vaping Devices | Accessories | E-Liquid

This:
Vape Escape Vision 1000 Ultimate £59.99 - Deluxe Vaping Kits - VE Vision 1000 Ultimate Electronic Cigarettes | Vaping Devices | Accessories | E-Liquid

And this:
Joyetech eGo-C 1000mah £59.99 - Deluxe Vaping Kits - Joyetech eGo-C Electronic Cigarettes | Vaping Devices | Accessories | E-Liquid

It's been my experience that an eGo/Riva battery is a battery is a battery.
In other words, as long as what you are going to put on them to hold your juice is eGo/510 compatible, you are good to go.
Not everything will accomodate the eGo cones, which are just there to cover the threads anyway. They are just for looks.

All of those kits come with everything you need to start, except liquid.
Correction. The second one I posted says to choose a flavor of liquid, it includes 10ml.
Which isn't much. You will need more.

The second one I listed looks like an "off brand". In other words, it is not Joyetech or Riva.
Doesn't mean it isn't a good kit, I'm just picky.

The third one I listed, I don't know if you would be happy with.
The eGo-C does have replaceable heating elements. Very easy to do.
But, I have found the cartridges don't hold very much liquid, and they can some times give a burnt taste.

The other two sets include clearomizers and/or cartomizers.
Clearos, a lot of people prefer. They don't have filler material. Fair warning, they can leak, you can also get burnt taste from them as well.

Cartos can be a little tricky to fill at first until you get used to what amount they will hold so they don't leak.
Keep them wet though.

I do feel most people would be happier with the longer battery life.
Keep one charged while you're using the other.

Good luck, and let us know how you do.

Ah... I noticed two others posted while I was typing.
And I agree with them as well.

30ml of liquid is about 1 ounce.
It looks like quite a bit of liquid, how long it lasts will depend on what you use and how often you use it.

I know that doesn't answer you, but if you take a few puffs now and then and are satisfied, it will last a lot longer than if you refill a clearomizer 5 times a day because you vape constantly. LOL

Get a few bottles just in case, and you will soon know what amount you need to keep on hand.
