It's a good thing you posted this, I forgot it was New Years Eve! That's what happens when you work at home, I guess.

We can see the fireworks across the lake from our balcony, so that's what we do every year, but husband is usually knocked out in the recliner way before midnight every year on this day, he goes to work at 5 am, so I guess that's a good enough reason for that.

we are staying home to watch the telly, the big ball drop on the telly..

i am cooking a complete turkey dinner and we had brought back french champane from our trip to paris, we will sip some bubbly at the stroke of 12..

eta, tonite is a rare blue moon, so being the wiccan i am, i plan on doing a lil magick crafting tonite lol

2marrow will visit my dad and spend the 1st day of the year with him..

he is fighting bone marrow cancer, last stages, so him being here for new years is special for us..

and yes, my dad is a vapor now!!!!

witch- its called Noche from Cooper vineyards I buy it at a place call Total Wine but I think you can order from Cooper- beware the shipping is killer on the case. The label says its a Virginia sweet table wine.


thank u, i enjoy a sweet wine, i enjoy a good port..

we always have wine on hand in this house..
