What is everyone up to tonight? Party time or relaxing at home?

I am going to a Georgetown Basketball game at 8 and haven't decided if we will just come home afterwards, or go out.

It's gonna start to snow here soon, so the plans are:
In PJ's cuddling on the couch with my fiance, Chinese food, movies, plenty of alcholic beverages, and loads of vapin' supplies!!!
It's gonna be a great relaxing New Years Eve!!

relaxing at home--we live out in the sticks so going out for NYE is a hassle when we've *not* got "wintery mix accumulating"... oy. in fact, i'm about to kick the 4WD into gear and try'n get to the store...

I am going to work on building my first flashlight mod. I know, I know VK batts work great but I love to build and install stuff on my own like computers and car stereos. I expect my VK will still probably be better but at least I can say I did it.

It's a good thing you posted this, I forgot it was New Years Eve! That's what happens when you work at home, I guess.

We can see the fireworks across the lake from our balcony, so that's what we do every year, but husband is usually knocked out in the recliner way before midnight every year on this day, he goes to work at 5 am, so I guess that's a good enough reason for that.

I'll be right here at home tonight, probably checking this forum.

I'll have to keep an eye out for the locals that will be setting off fireworks around us. Its been so wet, I don't think there's much chance of a grass fire, but you never know.

That is one of the few disadvantages to living out in the stix.

there aren't *many* disadvantages to living out in the sticks, i agree. but death defying frozen driveways that go down the mountain directly onto the highway, and crazy country folk with fireworks are a couple of 'em.

I'm staying in tonite with the gf. It's gonna be like 8 degrees tonite in Chicago. Although I might venture up to the roof of my bldg to watch the fireworks at Navy Pier at midnight.

Staying home too, not one to go out partying anymore, plus have to be at work at 7am New years Day. The last time I went to a big party it was at a Hotel in SF, music, food, and a bunch of us went. I still remember that was the night Ricky Nelson died in a plane crash, so sad...

we are staying home to watch the telly, the big ball drop on the telly..

i am cooking a complete turkey dinner and we had brought back french champane from our trip to paris, we will sip some bubbly at the stroke of 12..

eta, tonite is a rare blue moon, so being the wiccan i am, i plan on doing a lil magick crafting tonite lol

2marrow will visit my dad and spend the 1st day of the year with him..

he is fighting bone marrow cancer, last stages, so him being here for new years is special for us..

and yes, my dad is a vapor now!!!!

witch- its called Noche from Cooper vineyards I buy it at a place call Total Wine but I think you can order from Cooper- beware the shipping is killer on the case. The label says its a Virginia sweet table wine.

My plan was to stay at home where it's nice and warm and watch movies. Then my projector bulb died this morning8-o. So now it's going to be a boring night.

But got a nice order from V4L yesterday, and have 3 new flavors to enjoy, and just got the new Dan Brown book. Reading and vapeing into the new year...

went to the liquor store and my mail box on lunch. Got a bottle of Choc wine and carmel creme liquor and my V4L package. Happy New Year to me.
