If you are a deep lung inhaler, it takes several seconds to draw on the vape device of choice. Thus allowing the vapor to be in the mouth for several seconds before inhaling. takes about 1/2 to 1 second to inhale, hold about 1 second and exhale for 1.5 seconds. that seems to account for a minimum of 6 seconds. Some may let it go as far as 9 seconds.... seems long enuf to absorb a good amount of nic...

Using this longer, but slower and less deep, inhalation method should cause your e-cig to last you between 1.5-2 packs of cigarettes. The longer your inhale, the shorter the lifespan of the cartridge

What??? make up someones mind here use longer but slower draws and the longer you inhale the shorter the life span???

I stopped reading after the first couple of sentences... me nor anyone I know lung hits a cigarette... I use my pv the same as a cig, draw into mouth then inhale.

I don't know why that is considered the"norm", to lung hit a cigarette. I've read that a couple of places here. Makes me go "..." to myself every time I read that...

Talking with Lewtz a bit ago, found out one of my old college buddies lung hits cigarettes, but he's screwed up in so many other ways it's not even surprising

"Do not draw the vapor directly into your lungs as you would a cigarette."

Do people actually do this? I smoked cigarettes off and on for 25 years and certainly only tried that once or twice at most.

That's what i thought, too! I never took a lung hit off a cigarette, except by accident! Who the heck is lung hitting cigarettes, every I knew who smoked did mouth hits. Lung hits were for that other stuff, and it made people cough really bad.
