From what Ive read, any device other than the first cig-look alikes is a MOD, modified from the cig-looking types. So that being said my first MODs were the KGO batteries I got with my kit. I first started with some cig-looking Hilton Mist, that were useful in that they got me off cigarettes. They were a pain, I had them on the chargers more than I got to use them. I had them for a week when I found ECF. I was directed to the KGO and they served me well and still do. I still didnt get enough time between charges, I guess Im a heavy vapor.
I happily used them for a few months and did some reasearch and finally decided on my first "big boy" MOD. I got my Saber Touch and have been so thrilled, 18650 batteries at 2000 mah. I then got it KIcked and its even better than ever. I love the Saber I ordered another and its on its way.

My first "mod" was a 510-N. China's first attempt at a replacable battery tube mod, and MAN did they ever miss the mark! Next came a SB, followed by a Mako. I still have both of those and use them every day. My first VV was the little VV box mod from MadVapes, still have that one too. Since, I have gotten a Kick for the SB, Provari, Jazz Cartopipe, and a chrome L-Rider. I have also made several VV boxes.

I would have to say that my favorite "MOD" is 'all of them'.

Roman, those were both awesome purchases. I wanted a megalodon but when I wanted one and they were available, I hadn't tried any mods other than the Vtube and the 510 batteries, and the pictures of the Don made it look SO big. I thought it would get to my house and be the width of a maglite so I said nooo and I do regret it today because now the Magalodon is not longer sold and its a great collectors piece and a great mod. At least I have a telescope now, so I'm happy with my telescoping ability :p I'm sure the Don is great but the telescope hasn't stopped putting a smile on my face since I got it haha. The stainless steel was the best purchase I've made :p Now I also own a Bolt and I'm really happy with my Bolt as well. Every mod is a good mod if it brings the monster TH ya crave! :p

After dipping my toes in the water with a convenience store disposable, I got an Apollo V tube, the button began giving me grief after about a month, so I went for the ZMAX. Very happy with it so far. I keep hearing about the Provari tho.... I think I'll go with: 'If you've never had a T-bone steak, peanut butter tastes just fine' attititude.
