Seriously, ever since I've joined the team I've been awed, amazed, and touched by what a great bunch of people we have on our forum!!

You are all super helpful to every newbie who comes along, you are unstinting in your appreciation for all that we do, and always jump in to help us and each other, whenever and whatever any of us ask!!

I love you all, and I want ALL of you on my Friends list! I mean that! SO, can all of you send me your friends requests? I will add each and every one!

(i myself am still astonished at the helpful and positive attitude of everyone in here, including the V4L staff, which has subsequently made more than a believer out of me........ hence the "handle" i chose to go with.... as im convinced!!!!)

I like being in little communitys like this it feels easier for me to be social, i have problems with that kinda stuff in real life, i don't even like talking on the phone unless i know the person on the other end.... I'm not a weirdo i swear LOL

I SOOO totally get that. I have Social Anxiety Disorder, and I get even worse than that sometimes. I know you wouldn't guess it from my posts and vids, but a lot of the time I just don't want to communicate with ANYONE, not even family or friends.

SOmetimes I withdraw totally from contact. Most recently, from around last April to October, when Steve snapped me out of it, I hardly made any posts or vids at all, and other than going to work and back, never went out, and barely had any contact with the outside world. Once, I went 5 YEARS without talking to my own parents.

Like someone commented to me on YouTube, it's important to remind yourself that those feelings are illusions, and that the rewards of human contact are worth any stress and anxiety it causes.

I know EXACTLY what you mean I'm a lot better with it now, but sometimes i prefer to stay couped up here at home for days, then some days i'll wanna go out to remind me there is a real world beyond my computer screen LOL.
I still have funny social issues though, i am a music producer for all that noisy club / rave xxxxe, and as much as i like watching live music performances, i burst out laughing if someone sings in front of me in person, almost as if it's embarassing or something ? i've got almost 100 tracks out on vinyl and after all that i still haven't figured out why it tickles me LOL. Also makes me feel embarassed playing my stuff in front of people too, if i send it to them over the internet though AIM or MSN it does not intimidate me one bit, i dunno, i know i still have problems 8-o

I can dig the whole social phobia thing. Like Sartre said, hell is other people. Kinda tough to do any shopping this time of year; mail order is my bestest friend.

It sure does. I've said it before; I am not a business man, I am not motivated by money, I never had any interest or temptation to become a shill for anyone's business or product. I promoted e-cigs as a reviewer, and eventually joined V4L, for one reason and ONLY one reason; because it honestly HELPS people!

E-cigs, and the VK specifically, makes people's lives better, and healthier, and in all likelihood may even save a LOT of lives!

And that's a better feeling, bigger reward, and greater motivation than anything else I can even imagine!!
