Thanks JayBoNes. Yep, there definitely is a learning curve here. I ordered one batt w/no LED and in black coloring in my first kit, so if i want to grab a quick puff in public, people won't mistake it for an analog. but then again, i've been a closet smoker for so many years, that i would probably not puff or find a ladies room somewhere to grab that puff or two.

ok it arrived. fast shipping. ordered saturday, arrived today. i got the marlboro carts and ordered a set of 5 empty carts along with spearmint and red bull juice. already not a fan of the marlboro ( i have been smoking camel lights for YEARS ) but i must say the red bull is damn good. tastes just like it IMO. i got the pcc charging now and it should be ready in a few hours. im gonna carry a pack of the analogs to work with me in the morning but my intention is not to use them. ill report back tomorrow....

Cant go wrong with a 510 to be honest, it was my first PV and after trying the VK and 901, i always find my self coming back to the 510. 510 is the king of vapor no pun intended.

For out and about VK is the best but I am about to give Cartos a go here in a few weeks so we will see if the 510 can achieve the versatility that the VK has.

Hi, I'm a newbie, and I ordered my Joye510 kit from cignot. The Starter pak offers 2 of everything (for $35) -- i.e., 2 batt, 2 att, 2 carts, USB chgr. On one of my batts, I ordered no LED. My thoughts were that it would just be less for the battery to have to deal with and that the batt. might last longer. Then I got to thinking of some of the posts I read here that said to put the batt in the chrgr until the LED changes. Then I got to wondering how I would know if the batt. was charged if there is no LED. Do you know the answ to that?

Yes we do. Look at the charger LED rather than the batt LED. When it is red, the batt is charging. When the charger light turns green, you're good to vape.

Good luck with the 510...my initial choice as well and very happy with it. Just remember when choosing juices, a little goes a long way. So try as many sampler packs as possible until you find a couple that you really like. The 3-5ml samples should last at few days at least.

I do recommend the blue foam mod, already did mine because I did not like the "stock" poly filler. This 'habit' can take as much or as little of your time as you want. Some make their own juices, some make mods ad infinitum. Anyway, stop the analogs and rejoice!!

Good luck and keep posting your initial thoughts and progress.

LiteCig, and MadVapes also sell disposable models for $10, which i have yet to try (awaiting payday),

I have bought several from Mad Vapes and I am still using my first one, battery and atty after one month, I did try one of his new XL ones and the atty went out the first day and the battery started strong, but now won't hold a charge for more than 10-15 mins. I think I just got a dud of that model. If you can afford to buy at least five of them and get them cheaper and free shipping, sell the extras for 15 bucks and you have yours paid for plus.

check back often as there are many contests and givaways!

Where are the givaways???

Salt

(One I thought was broken I managed to resurrect.)

How did you do that?

ok, after a month of using it i am still kinda liking this concept. it has lowered my analog usage atleast 50%. i need to go order some more liquid now.

So glad to here someone else that still smokes, but cut way back, I get depressed when I hear all the stories about people that threw their smokes away as soon as they started vaping and have not looked back. (more like jealous I guess) I just have not got there yet, but keep plugging away. :sneaky:

I do recommend the blue foam mod

where is the best, (cheapest) place to buy it???
PS love the ashkissing

How did you do that?

I had of course washed it etc, but nothing. Then I grabbed it accidentally when I washed some more, and for some reason, another bath did the trick. I only noticed when I suddenly had one stainless too much ;)

Don't worry too much, you are hardly alone: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/polls/80124-how-long-did-take-you-stop-smoking.html. People just like to tell those Stopped-the-Moment-my-PV-arrived-stories a lot more than others ;)
