Zenesis Ash II arrived Wednesday the 6th of March, NOT EVEN ONE SINGLE THOUGHT of a cigarette until the moment I just knocked my mod over onto our granite counter top and completely shattered the tank. AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH, the first time in 3 or 4 days I've even thought of a nasty cigarette. The first thought was, crap that's broken, I need to run up to 7-11 and get a pack.

I've got a replacement STAINLESS tank on order and hopefully I can tough it out till Tuesday or Wednesday when the new tank arrives in the mail. I also got a replacement fused quartz tank but that will only go on for special occasions. All the while I'll be searching for a less breakable glass tank with the right dimensions.

Anyone know of anything available at like Home Depot or Lowes that will fit and work as a tank in a pinch?

ANYONE KNOW THE INSIDE AND OUTSIDE DIAMETER AND LENGTH IN MM OF THE TANK ON AN ASH II Z ATTY PLEASE???

I keep 2 spare tanks around, you will break them time to time, quartz is very hard so also very brittle. I've been meaning to try a pyrex tank. They are more forgiving to impact, quartz is more thermal shock resistant. But IBTanked can do it if you have the dimensions, never got around to measuring mine.

I feel your pain.

Actually, the Zen tanks are pretty good as far as not breaking.
Now and then, they will fall just right and the tank is history.
Mine have broken when falling if the top or bottom catches the weight. They usually survive if falling on their side.
Which doesn't help you right this minute.

Here is the Zen group link. You should be able to find tank dimensions there:
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/groups/zenation-home-zenfidels.html

Specifically:
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...00-zenesis-hybrid-personal-vaporizer-faq.html

You would need the "mini" tank.

I believe someone mentioned IBTanked.
BeDazzle also makes some glass tanks:
Bedazzle Tubes - Home

Again, you would need the "mini" size:
Zen-Mini - Bedazzle Tubes

Deep breath.
Backups for backups for backups.
Let us know how you are doing.

man I hate to hear that...makes me want to get a spare tank for my Standard SS...but even if you cant fix it right away and find yourself at the gas station...get a cigalike and not a pack of analogs...or run to a local B/M and grab a ego batt kit for backup...Its never a bad thing to have an eGo kit and a couple lr boges just in case.

Clearo, I have nothing else but the Zenesis and I have no idea what you're talking about. I'm a complete newbie.[/QUOTE

alright i can work with that...do you have a retail store around or is that out of the question?

if so ...then I would strongly suggest getting a eGo kit ( batts and charger)...the reasons are many like ..Do you plan on taking your Zen everywhere you go?.. for me I leave my nice mods at home and do all my running around with a twist and a Vivi nova..i find is easier to deal with personally.

Do you know any other Vapers close that will give you some Silica wick? Or even a few used clearomizers you can break open to rob the silica out of? you need to have 6-7 strands to make it pretty thick you got some Kanthal with your Zen right?....owning a zen i am sure you knew you would be building mesh coils for it and silica coils are very easy...I would use as much silica as i could find and do a 5/4 wrap and pile the silica up around the posts and drip about 10 drops on it through the top hole of the cover put a tip on and vape away.

ahhhh, I see. No brick and mortar stores around that sell anything but cheap cigarette style e-cigs that did absolutely nothing for me.

I do have a fellow vaper in town and I'm working on getting in touch with him.

In the meantime, I'm tipping the Ash sideways and putting the wick right in my juice bottle and hitting it that way. My brother in law says I look and am acting like a crackhead. I told him I'd rather be addicted to crack as it's probably easier to kick than this nic habit I have....

Thanks a bunch for your suggestions and help!

ouch thats a bummer! i think you can get tanks for that from IBtanked as well not sure if they will be any tougher then the quartz tank tho,
you might be able to find some pvc tubing that will have the right inside diameter if you hit the plumbing department at the depot.

Can I actually use PVC?

It's proving the easiest to find, just worried about the juice degrading the PVC and me smoking poly vinyl chloride......

If it were me I would take it to Home Depot and see what fits. If what I have read is correct you are looking for something with an od of 22mm and an id of 18.5-19mm. Length- cut to fit. Copper pipe maybe? Reinforced flex tubing? Conduit with the galv removed? I would avoid galvanized pipe unless you can remove the inner galv.

A 20cc syringe tube cut to length works like it was made for the zen.I have been using tanks made from ideal brand(the box is producer's pride) 20cc syringes on all my zens since I got my first one in march of last year.Unbreakeable,Even caustic juices don't phase it,they don't look quite as good as a quartz or pyrex, but real close and they are cheap to boot.I think I paid less than 5 bucks for 4 syringes at tractor supply company and each syringe is good for a couple of tanks.
