Zenith V2 RDA

Picked this up today to supplement my large collection of Tobh's....Not impressed so far. I stuck a cherry vapes drip tip on it, and ran it on a dual macro on my IPV2. Even all the way up to 50 watts, this thing just eh..sucks. Vapor production is really thin - Lacking those dense clouds that I love so much (Usually run a tobh with a chuff). Flavor is average and like I said..vapor is average. I've played around with the airflow options (that stupid ring is annoying) and I still can't get this thing to chuck (yeah, I said it). Plus this rda gets HOT - Really hot - And fast...Almost too hot to touch after five hits. Anyone had any good experiences with it? Maybe I'm just not treating it right? Bleh. Any thoughts would be helpful.

I love my Zenith's ($28 clones) seen here on my BFM's..one with 22g and one with parallel 24g micro coils, both are dual coil .12 ohm builds that pull 35A (147w)... ..airholes wide open, oversized drip tips that truly chuck the vapor..With 7mgs of nicotine I'm good after two, maybe three hits and I have to set it down (nicotine buzz, lol).. Love the slotted posts for the thicker wires, and the derlin insert keeps my drip tip cool too....its a great little RDA and I have no complaints about it.

What coils do you have in it?
I have my Zenith coiled with 0.8mm (20awg, I think) wire. 5 wraps, 0.12ohm, and it's a beast. Huge clouds and great taste.

To the OP:

I currently use a Zenith V2 and I wonder why yours is getting hot. I love it. Though I agree, the air flow ring is annoying. It ccan be locked down by the top cap but sometimes leaks. And I always have to fix it after putting liquid in it.

But I winder why yours is so hot. That never happens to me. And when I fill it I vape it till I've used all the liquid on it. It even has insulation at the drip tip.
