Ok so i've had this iStick Pico as my first kit and it's been great, till i decided to get an RBA/RTA so i decided to change its Melo III tank and i got a Zephyrus one, i've tried to rebuild the coils and wick it and didn't have any luck it leaked and made hell of a mess. Almost all the tank was spilt everywhere :(. SO.. I asked a friend helped me out but didn't work well.. after the second time it gave great flavor but low to almost none vape.. :grr: so i decided to wick it myself this time.. and as usual.. there was a burnt taste. I gave up and went to a vaping store and they fixed it for me bought a new coil and i used last piece of cotton i had but there is still something wrong and i don't know what is it ! There was this cotton taste that lasted for a while after it was gone i was vaping warm air with lots of vapor but no flavor .... :nah: but when i drop some liquid from the top straight onto the wicks it works like charm ! but when those few drops are vapourized it gets back to where it was ! Why is it doing so ?! It's a 0.17 Ohm dual coil btw  Help ? :-x

Why are you building to such a low resistance - are they temperature control coils made from Nickel or SS?

It sounds like a wicking problem - that would explain why it works as a 'dripper' but not as a tank - the juice just isn't flowing into the centre of the wick to get vaporised by the coil properly.

I would try using less cotton and/or fluffing out the tails more.

Could be too much cotton covering your juice holes. Watch this. It may help

Or this one

Too much or too little cotton causes all kinds of problems

Good Luck & VAPE ON

Thanks ! <3

I have no idea what the coil is made of and i'm not the one who built the coil i don't even know how, still that's not the case i've wicked it agian this time and it's leaking like hell .... :|

Are you closing off the air flow while filling it. Most top fills need the air flow ring on the bottom to be closed off while filling.
