I went from 0.035% to 0.00% at noon today. It's been 8 hours, I feel fine. Been 18 months since I quit the stinkies. I still have another vape with the 0.035% mixture if needed, and I can put a drop of 1% on my tongue if really needed, but I don't think I will.....

Congratulations on reaching your goal

Personally that never has been one of mine. My goal was to just quit smoking tobacco. I have lowered my nic level over the past 5 years but only because my body showed me that it was time. At my age I think taking in a bit of nicotine could be proven to be beneficial to my well being so I don't ever plan on going down to zero. I have enough of the concentrate in my freezer to insure that I am never forced to do so.

contrary to popular OPINION it is not the nicotine in smokes that kept us hooked on them. I believe It is the cocktail of other ingredients that when burned cause a dependence and a myriad of health concerns.

Well, with the deeming regulations, I thought I should try to get it down to zero. I started reducing nicotine right off the bat because I was doing direct to lung, sub ohm and was getting dizzy at 18mg. Anyways, got up this morning, hit my zero vape and I was fine. Interesting how the body works that way.

I'm aware that nicotine isn't additive or that addictive as they say. The addictive part is in the tobacco smoke, even pure organic non sprayed tobacco. I tried it that way.

Also, at least 3 times during those 18 months, I tried one hit of a real cigarette. I got a serious buzz off of it, like I hadn't smoked in all this time (but I was vaping). I also did one drop of 10% nic on my tongue, now that was a pretty serious buzz, I had to sit down. It was quite different than the real cigarette. So something is going on where the real addictive chemical isn't being announced.

I am so happy with the vape that having one drag off a real cigarette does nothing but reinforce vaping. Tastes like crap! I was sure of that before I tried it, and I was right. I didn't want anything to do with them. Mostly those moments involved lots of alcoholic drinks. :)

I couldn't imagine if I smoked in the house and car again. Ugh. Clothes smell nasty, burn holes in clothes. The ashes and butts smell. Nasty. I suppose I could smoke cigs outside, but still your clothes stink. It's got nothing on vaping except that mysterious chemical. I should get a small thing of WTA juice and try it, now that I'm going to be averaging zero nic, only with a backup with a little dropper, if it's needed.

I'm not really worried about getting addicted to things again. And I'm done with the 3 puffs I inhaled in 18 months. I did enough testing there.

Update: I looked at WTA ejuice base price. 30.00 U$FRN for 15 ml of 24mg/ml. I'll pass, too expensive for just a test.

You mean 5ML?

I mix by weight. When I first started, I just made the assumption that the specific gravity of everything was 1.0. That way it's 5 ml = 5 g. I corrected my reply above. I know that VG is heavier, but since I went from 18mg/ml to 15 the first time, you can add 10-20% because of the VG. So it was 18 -> 17, but from then on, it was just reduction, so it didn't matter. Sure makes the math easier. In fact, it was just percentage by weight vs volume. It works out.

Right On 90VG.

Getting to 0mg DIY is the Most Sure Fire way, short of Quitting vaping, to be Unaffected by State and Federal Regulations.

I vape 0% nic when i just need the smoking behavior stimulation like waiting for a bus or wasting time. I do however get nic fits if I vape 0%. I am currently DIYing 2mg or 1.5mg ejuice normally. My body still needs the nicotine, but I have slowly moved from 18mg to 12mg to 6mg to 3mg to 2mg/1.5mg without any nic fits so I am on my way to 0% eventually. That is why I love DIY. I can tailor my ejuices to my smoking cessation program.

Kudos to anyone that can go 0mg without any issues!
