Zmax mini ohm reading

Let's just say that IF I went out and grabbed a kayfun tomorrow and once I made a build could I use the ohm reading on my zmax to get an accurate resistance reading?? That purchase may or may not happen

I think it's pretty accurate it might be off just a tad it seems like my zmax was always a point higher then my provari

It will give you a good reading, but I prefer not to fire my coil to see the resistance. You're protected by short circuit protection, but I don't want to have to trust that. One dead short could compromise a battery cell. Can you see resistance without firing? I don't know if they updated software in mini version.

you can use any mod with an ohm checker to check a window of resistance of a coil most afordable mods with ohm checkers will be off by a few points possibly from what ive seen with my zmax v1 and my mvp (mvp more acurate but wtill sways .1-.2 here and there)

my rule of thumb is check with a quality multimeter before actually firing the coil just to be sure you can getr a decent multimeter at sears for under 20$ usually
