What is your sweet spot setting? I started at 3, I'm up to 7 with 50/50 and honestly not getting a ton of vapor with the vivi nova. Am I doing this wrong or is this usual? At 8 I get more of TH but still not a ton of vapor... I swear the video's look like you could cut the vapor with a knife!! WTH?:unsure:

With the 2.4ohm atty in the vivi I'm getting great results between 7-9watts. It took about 2 hours of vaping before it really began to shine though. Also, for the first 2 hours I had to draw pretty hard to get nice vapor, but once it's broken in I didn't have to draw very hard. Lastly, mine came from the factory with the 8th menu set to MEA instead of RMS. Don't forget to switch it to RMS.

Someone else might chime in with better advice for the desired wattage though because I've only had my zmax for a day.

Sounds good to me scrappy. Depends on the juice. Right now I'm on 5.5 watts with a dark chocolate juice. 2.8 ohm vivi head - lots of vapor. I'm using PG/VG 80/20. With 50/50 it may take a bit longer to wick up and break in, but people use it with vivis and have said it vapes well. Should be ok. With 50 VG you should get lots of vapor. I do wonder if its your batteries not powering it properly.
I know you aren't screwing the vivis on too tight - you don't want them too loose either.
The watts will vary depending on juices and each persons preference.

we are using the 2.8 ohm head in the vivi nova and I didn't realize it took that long. I actually didn't try it much because I couldn't stand the nasty flavor of what was in it. So last night I poured it out. Oh yeah THAT was a fricken MESS!! Hubs was 1/2 asleep when he's trying to tell me how he put the juice in and told me the wrong end. I opened the end he told me and suddenly there is juice all over my coffee table and that bad boy was full! I am just glad it was the nasty juice that got wasted and not my mocha java!! Anyway I still don't know if I got it all cleaned up properly. I wiped it all out but it was EVERYWHERE!! Got a mouthful of juice quite a few times and FYI it taste disgusting in liquid form!
So after fiddling with it and not getting ANYTHING I told hubs at 3am when he got up for work that it was DOA. He tells me I'll bet I can go hit it right now or something equally manly. He comes out, picks it up, tightens the vivi nova and guess what? Yep Vapor... ugh!! I HATE when he is right!! When I changed out the juice I didn't tighten it down enough. He says I am so paranoid about over tightening it and it wasn't connecting. So 1 problem solved. 2nd issue... batteries. They FINALLY came today and they are on to charge, not sure how fast they will charge soooo. BUT hubs says in his best knowitall tone, there's nothing wrong with those batteries. He MUST be right You know cause he's a guy and all... lol
The juice in the vivi nova is 50/50. I dumped out the 50/50 classic tobacco and put in the 50/50 coffee. I can't remember if he tried it on the ego or not and he's asleep so I can't ask him but I will when he gets up. So far he is not a fan of the Zmax or the vivi nova but love the T3 on the ego.

If you don't mind wasting your juice when you want to change flavors, just dump it out over the sink, then wash it all out. Here's a video showing you how to do it. You don't have to watch all of it because the second half talks about rebuilding the atty.

I only like the Vivi Nova after it has been modified a bit. The head cut and a proper coil with low resistance leads attached. That said, I don't mind the Nova but tend to get muted flavor from it in stock form. I like 2.0-2.6 ohms and tend to use Attys. I have a Zmax v1 and prefer 5.5 to 7 watts and typically leave it at 6 or 6.5. These numbers may not be for you and may not translate if you have a v2 Zmax.

Yeah...just broke my ZMAX V.1 today. I had a Vision *STV* Tank System on the ZMAX and while threaded, it snapped off from the juice weld (had it in my pocket). I thought that the threading attached to the juice weld was one piece..guess not. Does anybody know if this is fixable? I know that there is 1 wire that can be easily soldered under the threading connector. I also noticed that the tank does not sit flushed on the juice weld, is it the same for V.2? I already have placed an order for the V.2. but It would be nice if I can fix the V.1. for back back up purposes.

In the meantime, I have my Tank on an EGO Twist. looks like an ECIG Bobble Head. LoL!
