I have a Zmax V5 and recently bought an iclear 30b. I got about 500 puffs on it and than it started to say no load or a short or low load. What can this mean. I bought some replacement coils and changed them out and it works okay but sometimes it will say one of those messages again. Help

I was told a short is most often a problem in the clearo or tank itself. Not sure though. I had a Tesla that developed issues with the center pin. As the agent at Ivape told me that when I put a 510 on it it was real touchy. You might want to look at the center pin. not familiar with the zmax Just kind of shooting in the dark.

If you are getting the low load message, this means your atomizer / clearo isn't making good contact with the center pin. You have two options to fix it, either pull down the center pin on your clearo a little or gentle pry up the center pin of the Zmax. If you are only having this issue with one specific clearo (your others work correctly) I would suggest you start by adjusting the clearo first.

If you need to pry up the center pin of the Zmax, it can be done safely. Just use a paper clip (works well because you can't exert too much force and break something) and put it under the center pin and gently pry it. Do it all the way around the center pin.

Finally, make sure the connectors are always clean (both the battery and the clearo) and more importantly, don't tighten anything down on your batteries. All my juice attachments are finger tight at most. As soon as they make a connection I stop screwing them in.
