Just a question.. Is this normal. the lcd gauge on my zmax for the battery doesn't seem to be reading any of my batteries correctly. My gauge will say my battery is at about 75 percent but my device will start to lower the voltage then eventually die out saying low voltage all while still showing my battery is at around 75 percent.. Also what is the average amount of time a 18350 should last for a chain vaper like me.. I think i am only getting like 3 hours.. I have the efest purple 10a 18350

What voltage range are you running on the ZMax? What ohm coils are you using?

I use AW 18350 IMR batteries. I typically get 6 - 7 hours use per charge in my Mini Provari with a 2.5 ohm cartotank, less with a 1.3 ohm coil in my Kayfun Lite Plus.

Not personally a fan of Efest batteries. The manufacturer has been known to over-state their battery specifications, and their batteries can be very inconsistant from one battery to another. My guess is your Efests are fading out "under load" despite having adequate voltage left. I've had similar experience as you with Efest batteries, and now do not use them.

The great 30A shootout Sony US18650VTC3 vs Efest 30A (30 amp Efest nearly vents at only 20 amps)

I am vaping with both a Aspire BDC 1.8ohm and a Aspire Nautilus 1.6ohm.. I am vaping at either 4.3 volts or 8.0 Watts. This is my first mod.. I am coming from an itaste vv 3.0.. I thought the battery life would be better.. I used to get around 6 hours on my itaste.. I bought efest 10a batteries cause that was what everyone was saying to buy when i searched best batteries.. I will get a AW Battery today and see if that helps

The battery capacity icon gauge on the Sigelei Zmax V5 display is approximate but mine seems to be much more accurate than yours (I'm guessing you have a Sigelei?). If you want an accurate voltage reading from the battery Menu Item #4 will show you that. All 18350 batteries are somewhat capacity impaired and three hours chain vaping 1.6 ohms at 8 watts is actually pretty good. Don't expect the AW 700mAh to last much longer. You can improve battery life at 8 watts by switching to 2.4 ohms or so.

1100mAh 18490 or 18500 is a much better choice for the Sigelei V3 or V5 if you want more battery capacity. Due to the design of these telescopic rigs the overall length of the V5 with 18350 is 100mm and only 112mm or so with the larger battery.

Low battery voltage warning from the V5 is at 3.3V and the device will not fire below that. You may get a few weak hits from the V3 or V5 at 3.3V before it hits 3.2V and calls it quits.
