... I'm having trouble knowing what equipment i have. i thought my first PV was 801, but wont work with a 801 to 510 adapter. i've heard 510 referred to as being the thread size. then i see some threads called 306 that look like my RN4081. what can i do to find out what i've got and what i need?

306 and 510 are the same thread, smaller in diameter than your 4081

901 is the same thread as 808... And they are opposite of your 4081' in that the male thread is on the battery.

801 is larger than the others, and the female thread is on the battery, like your 4081 is.

It would help if you posted pics of your disassembled eCig.

901 and KR808D-1 are the same except for air inlets. You can put a 901 atty right on LR8 - the 901 atty has an air inlet on the side. But you need an adapter to put KR8 cartos on a 901 (adapter provides the air inlets)

Re your adapter - dunno.

If you have a high priced rebrander 3-piece it may be a Trio Chinese wholesaler model, if a rebrander 2-piece with male threads on the battery, it is usually an E9 aka KR808D-2 (same as Greensmoke) and the only adapter I know is LeCig has D2 to D1 (KR808D-1) and D1 to D2. Smaller chance it may actually be a KR808D-1. If it has 8mm threads it may be a Chinese wholesaler model E8. And the batteries that are innies (female threads) are usually RN4081 or Trio batteries

Here is a list of some rebrander names for Chinese wholesaler models (and I believe Luci, Gamucci and others also sell that Trio and it was also the old 3-piece Blu)

Another list but they are I think referring to an old Bloog - the current Bloog is supposed to be KR808D-1, not D2/E9, and they may be referring to the old 2-piece Blu?
